Show is moving too fast. My hopes of a 52 episode season have been dashed. They would be moving slower if they planned on it.

Did they included the FFXII reference in it?

Heck, we're still in the 70es, chapterwise. The manga has 222 chapters by now. Even if we'd go with breakneck 4 chapters per episode, we could go 52 episodes easily (since by then, we'd be at chapter 274)

I'd at least expect 26 anime episodes, but 52 would be possible without any problem.

Well, at least we won't getting any useless filler for a while.

yeah, those butler battle and filler were pretty pain in season 1.

I'd think that one or a few wouldn't be bad for break episodes, considering we can't have full-on drama/serious plot development all the time. After all, that's the spirit of Hayate no Gotoku.

I don't really like Nagi much, but she was an actually decent character this ep (I actually forgot the whole Kazuki x Nagi bit occurred in the manga).

I'm so jealous, me want...

Hayate not Gotoku seaon 2 episode 5 RAW at moment.

GREAT EPISODE! I did not like seeing Nagi naked cause I am not a fan of loli unless it is appealing and this one was not! Other than that it was great to meet Kazuki Nishizawa who is the brother Ayumu Nishizawa.
What I liked:

Spoiler:

-The beginning was great! Nagi around the Sakura and then suddenly Kazuki showing. That was great! Such a romantic setup and all. NICE!
-Hahah! Nagi trying to reach a certain box and as being clumsy falls down with Hayate getting the box for her. For some reason she gives it back to him and runs. O_O WHAT?
-Nagi escaping to try and find that person which she was thinking about.
-Kazuki being at Wataru's store and Alien 2 reference! That was cool!
-Kazuki confessing to Nagi with TEARS IN HIS EYES! WOW! What a guy to do it like that.
-Kazuki using the same maneuvers as Hayate with Nagi to make his point clear. I refer to the part where he traps Nagi against the wall and faces her with both hands on the wall. It is a way of saying I am not going to do anything to you but pay 100% attention to what I am saying.
-Nagi going into the subway for the first time and wondering why it won't let her in until Kazuki tells her she needs a ticket. OOPS!
-Nagi being completely mesmerized by the scenery she gets from being on the train.
-The punks that tried to get Nagi but were pummeled by Hayate! YA HAYATE! YOU SHOW THEM!
-Nagi playing a shooting game that reminded of Time Crisis at the arcades. She was pretty good anyways.
-The boat scene! THAT WAS SOOOOO NICE AND ROMANTIC! Kazuki sure has guts!
-Hayate catching Nagi while being hidden as a bird but HE GOT FOUND OUT! BUSTED! Oh well.
-Interactions of Nagi and Wataru after Nagi comes back home from the boat scene.
-Marie's apple pie and her feeding a piece to Hayate in order to have him taste! THAT WAS SO KAWAII! I wish I would be fed by Marie. :P Nagi got a little jealous there.
-Sakuya and her explanation of how to charm Hayate.
-Sakuya telling Nagi that all is about the bust size of your breast. (FOR GOD'S SAKE JAPAN, STOP BEING OBSESSED BY BREAST SIZE! This is all USA stupid fault.) Also Nagi is only 13 so Sakuya...."GIVE NAGI A BREAK!"
-Hayate appearing and announcing to Sakuya that it's not about that but then her calling Hayate a moron was LOL :071: I LOVED THAT PART!
-Nagi in bathroom was ok.
-Hayate seeing Nagi WAS NOT OK! Then again Hayate washing the hair of Nagi with a blindfold was cool! IT WAS NICE, HIS JOB AND MARIE WAS HAPPY FOR THEM!
-BEST WAS NAGI KISS ON HAYATE CHEEK!

Best episode so far of the second season. Want to know why i say that? Simple. Nagi. Nagi. Nagi. I loved these two chapters in the manga.

The ED felt so out of place this week. More so then the last four episodes.

Hehe, I agree. Maria's good at flirting. She always gets poor Hayate worked up. :heh: I'm glad that MariaxHayate has received more constant focus in season two. It was pretty sparse in the original.

I'll make a longer post later, but a question for the manga experts. Does Kazuki Nishizawa become a regular presence after this? According to the Wikipedia article...

Since that's the whole of his biography, it sounds like he's either a one-shot character or very minor. Which is a shame, since it's interesting to see how Nagi handles being the object of someone's affections.

That's exactly what I was thinking. When the ED came on I was like, "... and she didn't even show up this week." XD

Wonderful episode. Lots of cute and funny moments. Probably my favorite of the season so far.
