it is part of the executor (with Yayoi) in which know almost nothing, in 22 episodes I hope that will be more information about it (how he became executor or better ... why are psycho-pass is if dark)
because it is an interesting character I think

The Father of the Pack.... I like the fact that he paints pictures.!

Chiaki_chan 2012-11-30 01:40

ah yes Masaoka is a very good painter, it must be a sensible and patient haha
In any case, I hope to know that this happened with his arm, so have just learned that he had an "accident" mundane I'd be a little disappointed
^^"

He's an interestingly endearing father figure, and he does care his colleagues a lot. My problem however is his relationship with Ginoza seemed very conflicted and dramatic, but I want to learn more about the flashback of both of them. He's also a good painter, but his mechanic left arm might give his darker vibes though (which is very interesting).

He's also the only one (for now) who has lived in a society pre-Sybil, after all his comments always gives away curious information like the one regarding minors.
I would like an episode focused on him, his past and to see how he and his generation reacted to the changes that were made. And, how old is he?

Funny that there's gotta be someone to say that they don't make people like they used to ;)

Did they actually say that in an episode? I had been speculating that he used to be a police officer before the sybil system was implemented and was then demoted because of his CC but I didn't think there was any proof to back that up yet.

I don't know if he used to be a police officer or not (it does seem that way or maybe his deduction capacity makes it look like that) but I assume that he lived before the Sybil system and for that assumption I find him pretty interesting.

Well this episode said that the system was put in place when Gino was young so it's only been around for 30 years at most so he's certainly lived before the system was in place (heck, I think this means that everyone except Akane has).

Anyone else here get that feeling that he might be Gino's father?

Yes but it has a different last name so I do not really know ...

That's true, but it's not entirely far-fetched given that there's something decidedly different about their interactions with one another. In any case, there's probably something special about their relationship with each other.

after you and another thought that after knowing that the father Ginoza became a "potential criminal" and therefore you are all turning to Masaoka because it is the oldest of the band and a potential criminal ... have can not blame you

Qilin 2013-01-04 21:28

I'd rather call it a theory derived from established writing conventions and prior foreshadowing. ;)

I've suspected that for a few episodes now (since Tomomi rushed to Gino's defense after Akane strongly told off Gino for disrespecting her).

The different last name could be Tomomi's and/or Gino's way of hiding their relation.

Qilin 2013-01-05 17:53

To add to that, there's also the scene in one of the earlier episodes where Akane is met with an awkward reaction from the other Enforcers when she asked about Gino and Tomomi's relationship. There's definitely something up.
