Fall 2010: Your Expectations and Anticipated Series
 

Fall 2010 list by Chartfag is out!


Due to Chartfag's inability to update, here's V2 from The Cart Driver:

Definitely watching To Aru Majutsu no Index 2, Bakuman, Kuragehime, Oreimo, World God Only Knows, Yosuga no Sora, Hetalia season four, and Arakawa Under the Bridge 2. May try out MM!, Psychic Detective Yakumo, Soredemo Machi Mawatteiru, and Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls.

I'll certainly check out AIC, Shaft, and Madhouse shows. Also intend to check out Yosuga no Sora since I've started to playing this game with the aid of AGTH. :eek: Will cautiously check out the Deen and J.C. Staff shows.

To Aru Majutsu no Index 2, definitely sure about that.

Will also take a look at Bones new show, Star Driver, don't know if this will become epic just like Xamd/Eureka.

And since there are lots of JC shows, will check them one by one as long as I can.

since they did a fake chart I hope they included a touhou anime. run by hmmmm Bones? Sunrise? or maybe Gonzo (lol fanservice touhou)

and wow Yotsuba by KyoAni is indeed an anticipating one. lololol :heh:

Well my fall season list is looking like this:

–Toaru Majutsu no Index II: Only natural I watch my favorite series
–Bakuman: Love the manga. Hoping the anime meets expectations
–Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Very interesting series. I enjoy the manga very much.
–Shinrei Tantei Yakumo: Sounds like a pretty good mystery anime.
–Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga nai: The title piqued my interests.
–Sora no Otoshimono: Forte: The first season made me lol
–Iron Man: WHY THE FUCK NOT
–Star Driver: Bone + Action + FABULOUS hair = Yes please.
–Togainu no Chi: Maybe… if the boys love is not heavy
–Fortune Arterial: For the lulz
–Motto To-Love-Ru: To pass time and boners. Oh and I read the manga.
–MM!: S no M
–Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls: Sounds like an ecchi-er Sekirei. Preparing body now.
–Yosuga no Sora: Just because.
–Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu: Season carry over
–Amagami SS: Season carry over
–Shiki: Season carry over
–Nurariyon no Mago: Season carry over

Well there goes my semester grades.

Wow Fall anime is really failing to catch my interest, Yosuga no Sora looks interesting I'll give it a chance, and I'll follow Index II too assuming I like Index/railgun when I get around to them :p. Lack of seeing Shakugan no Shana III there makes me sad since I thought was supposedly starting after Shakugan no Shana S, I guess that's been changed or delayed :(. And maybe Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls if I hear it's decent to good.

^ Nah that was only a rumor. There will definitely be a Shana Third but it'll probably be Fall Season 2011 since J.C.Staff can't have a Toaru series and Shana running at the same time.

Aragawa Under the Bride 2 - Because I watched season 1

Otome Zakuro - Not sure yet on this, but will give it a try

Machi ga Mawatteru - Seems like it could be interesting, so try

Fortune Art. - Watch reason is character designs

Kami-Shiro - Looks like it could be decent, so try

In-something II - Because I watched season 1

MM! - Fan of original novel and manga

ToLoveRu - Because I watched the first season

Sora no Otoshimono - Fan of the manga

Imouto-kawaii - Will watch, out of interest in how it will turn out and in hope I can understand why it is so popular (not really hopeful here though)

Hakuoki - Watched first season

Yosuganosora - Character designs; slight interest in story

IkaMusume - Interest in it...? I think...

Bakuman - Never read the manga, but it is from the same manga-ka as Death Note, so lots of anticipation?

My new anime list for next season...

hmm so many shows airing this season i want to see. probably out of all of them, it'd have to be the second season of to aru majutsu no index. i really hope to see a certain female character animated. but i will have to hold off watching these weekly until christmas as i am going to be jam packed with work this semester.

No KyoAni on the list, huh? Guess they really got absorbed in the Nichijou production. I don't mind at all.

Now for my own version of the chart...

Will definitely watch:

- To Aru Majutsu no Index - for obvious reasons.
- Shinryaku! Ika Musume - for the tentacle hair. (・ω・)
- To Aru Kagaku no Railgun OVA
- Shakugan no Shana S OVA
- Koe de Oshigoto OVA

Might (or might not) watch:

- Togainu no Chi - I know it's basically BL, but it's done by Nitro+. Nitro+ = awesome.
- Yosuga no Sora - as the studio name itself suggests, it has a nice "feel" to it. Love the character designs.
- Fortune Arterial - gave it a quick glance a long time ago. Shiro-chan > the rest.
- Ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai - After reading a few novel chapters, I found it quite nice, although a bit average. Am I the only one thinking that people are overrating this?

The rest is either uninteresting or falls into the "I didn't even watch the previous season yet, so I'm not going to bother with it now" cathegory.

Uhhhh, The World God Only Knows, SoreMachi, Arakawa 2 and will give Star Driver a chance.

Like Bakuman manga but honestly no point me looking at anime adaption, reading the manga is faster.

Too lazy to type again so I'll copy paste a post of mine from a blog:

To Watch:

1. Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt – Panty has a gun made out of frilly underpants and likes to have sex with men. Stocking is a Gothic Lolita. Garterbelt is a black priest with an afro. This is the anime of the season. In Gainax doth we placeth trust.

2. Yosuga no Sora – I’ve been hearing good things about the material. I need my SoL slow paced series. This is likely it.

3. Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan - I actually liked the first season, sort of. Hijikata is awesome.

To Try:

1. The World God Only Knows – I actually wanted to try the manga but Onemanga went under before I had the time. Not exactly my cup of tea but it’s worth a shot.

2. My Little Sister Can’t be This Cute! – K-On’s ending in 2 months and I need my sugar.

3. Star Driver – I haven’t had a true mecha fix in years. Maybe this is it?

4. Soredemo Machi – It’s Shaft so expect this to be… well bizarre in some manner. As someone who couldn’t withstand the visual assaults of Bakemonogatari and thus never finished it, maybe I’ll end up liking this one.

5. Kuragehima – I’m going in blind on this one.

To Watch :
Index Season II - Big fan of the series
The World God Only Knows - Just to watch Keima's awesomeness. Will probably drop though if the adaptation is bad
Super Robot Taisen OG- big fan of the game so will probably follow it

To try :
Arakawa 2 - Doesn't like the first season that well, but still willing to give it a try
Ore no Imouto - I did read the novel so I'm a little curious how it will turn out on anime
MM - Same as above
Star Driver - I always try a mecha anime for at least 2-3 episode
Yakumo - the manga is pretty interesting, although the pacing is too slow, maybe I'll try for 1 arc before deciding whether to drop it or not

That's my plan for fall, although I probably gonna watch the other non sequel series for 1 or 2 episode and follow some anime blog to decide whether it's worth a watch or not

Looks like an interesting season, looking forward to Star Driver and Bakuman the most.

Will definitely watch Toaru Majutsu no Index II.

I'll be watching Motto To Love-Ru if I manage to finish To Love-Ru before it launches. *Quite a pressuring promise. XD*

I'm going to watch, in addition to MM! and Yosuga no Sora, definitely watch Milky Holmes.

I want to watch Deadman Wonderland (I love Ripley Scott's Gladiator). Looks like it has great potentials to have an awesome plot, if done right.

Also, since I'm a big dino-fan, You Are Delicious, too. Looks cute, and maybe would make a few smart dino-jokes for a geek like me. :3

Can't say much for Iron Man. Looks cliche. I don't like Iron Man 2, so, I don't expect much from this one, albeit it being made by a different company, person or whatever.
