I only took a sneak peak on some screen shots on 2chan :)
Looks to be based on chapter 99 in volume 10 of the manga.
Sakuya is back. yay! I wonder if she'll have more screen time now that Rental Magica has an Sakuya's, Nagi's, Hinagiku's, and Ayumu's seiyuu as well.

Hontou da! I hadn't even realized yet that Manami was voiced by Shizuka Itou (Hinagiku)!

Well too bad it is such a short duel... I really want Hayate doing the scene where yugi is screaming out all of this out. I really wish Hayate had done this scene T.T

This is done with an edit and I believe the card that Yugi used was called Beserker Soul which allows one of his monsters to attack directly to the guys lifepoints as long as the card he keeps drawing are monster cards :P

I was about to give a 9/10 just for the presence of saki and maria but the end just did it for me...

"Just so you know, it's not Isumi's house cels being recycled." - The narrator got another few points for that line alone. One of the many great ones in this episode. The narrator's "He'll be talking like a machine gun now." about Kaoru also qualifies.

Hayate's lip misreadings were hilarious, and Sakuya never fails to amuse me. She's probably the most genre-savvy person in this show.

Finally, the Yu-Gi-Oh duel at the end...from Klaus, Nagi and Maria being cards to Hayate suddenly gaining a Yami form, and his reaction at the end ("You mean this will continue?") got the episode a 9. Very entertaining overall.

"There will be lots of fanservice shots. Please watch with your entire family." - Maria sure knows how to end an episode.

Why didn't Maria go with them? Though it was fun watching her fantasize...

And Nagi put it well: whom does Wataru like? Saki or Isumi?

Speaking of her, no matter how brief her appearances, she's always so cute. Same for Ayumu.

About the Yugioh part: Hayate's always had a dark side. (Remember his shoulder angel?)

Glad to see the butler battles are just little bits at the end. They're funny and they don't take the place of an actual episode. Now I demand someone recreate that duel using lines from Yu-Gi-Oh the abridged series!

There was also a very brief Duel Masters cameo/reference during the Yu-Gi-Oh! skit

Oh I'm glad someone else noticed it, I was worried I was the only one who did! :p The Yu-gi-oh part was brilliant, I laughed too hard. Too funny for words, especially the "other me" part. Great stuff.

An advise to boys


Girls want communication or at least a guy who listens to their troubles.


It is a fact that Japan it is the best and only place where omiai is held.


A man and a woman who are introduced through omiai and share similar experiences in life would frequently become friends.

I absolutely enjoyed this episode, some worthy parts were:
Hayate's lip reading technique, it was so funny because he was almost getting it right but it was completely off
Wataru's and Nagi's and Sakuya's expressions and reactions
That last part with the butler battle was from Yu-gi-Oh, Kaiba vs Yugi :heh:
I wanna see who Wataru would choose, either Saki or Isumi
During the Butler network, Hayate mentioned he wanted to see more of Maria :D
Hopefully next episode is just as good

I was having trouble breathing during the butler battle, that was how funny it was to me.
