Just one thing, was Lucifer's boob fanservice really needed?? Come on DEEN Spoiler for Boob service:
|
As most VN readers expected, they ended the episode with Kumasawa's surprise.
Now, depending of how a proper raw will go, I will give it this episode a 1... Spoiler for :
Honestly, I couldn't do anything but nodding or waiting the few seconds with excitement. That was definitely a nearly flawless adaptation for the whole franchise, beating 1-5 hands down. They conveyed almost everything from start to finish (Ronove's antics, fuhahahaha :heh:). To make things even better, they finally started using hope, nighteyes etc. Only little nitpicks: they used quite some fanservice for Lucifer, and they shortened Kanon 'COOL' moment + Lucifer's humiliation, but these were REALLY minimum compared to the good job. And good lord, I love how the seiyuu voiced Lucifer and Leviathan (though I wonder how whiney she will sound). Couldn't hear belphegor though >_> |
I have no complaints with the Lucifer fanservice.
|
Kanon is a perv! I KNEW IT! Muhihihi
|
I think the supposed fanservice helps with the whole 'shame' she suffers, so it's okay.
|
A perfect adaptation, only two chapters from the visual really an amazing episode and they used excellent bgm.
I just hope they don't make the same mistake again like in episode 2, a very good adaptation in the beggining and in the final a very rush adaptation. |

Like I said Kanon is a perv. He was only waiting to get the change to slice some shirts XD And here we thought BAttler was the pervert in this series

Waaah, that really was a good episode adaption-wise. There was one very wtf animation scene but the scene was short fortunately, didn't get bored while watching this, pacing was nice though it felt a bit rushed at the end. They couldn't have made it a lot better, but they still have their annoying fanservice shots and such =/
|
Just finished the episode and WOW.
Spoiler for Review and random pic I made for the lulz:

Oi, Mikaichiru, you can't say such things. Kanon is gonna listen and do it
This episode was really great unsure if I should give it a 9 or 10, though I'm tending to 10. But I've gotta say...Genji is a complete meanie. Lays down Shannon but let Kanon fall to the ground with his face smashing against the floor. I love the friggin Sisters. "Hai, Onee-sama" and their giggle and Beelze and Asmo and..I could go on all day. Kanon and Shannon were friggin sweet, gotta love them. The BGM was really nice..~ aw this episode really was good! |
Finished up the raw. Can't say I exactly liked much of it, but it was an entertaining episode to say the least.
Spoiler for New Seiyuus:

Damn, DEEN is really starting to impress me. Animation looked a bit chunky at times, but as a condensed adaption they pulled it off really well. Nearly flawless so far, and I suppose I hit the nail on the head when I said they were saving the big guns for when they adapt the more popular Episodes. Don't let me down DEEN, keep it up!
Well now the highlights of the episode. The tension surrounding Beatrice's fall was less effective with the way they altered it in the anime, but it was just as gruesome as it was in the VN. Loli Rosa was great and all, but I think I was most excited by the fact that Ohara was able to pull off a really great human Beatrice. It was a minor worry of mine if Ohara would be able to pull it off, but now I can breath a sigh of relief. VA props goes to Ronove and the Stakes as well of course, for reasons already mentioned in previous posts above mine. Ronove is just so suave and in-your-face and gay, that it's nothing short of perfect. The new Stakes pulled off a great performance too; Lucifer really seemed ashamed, embarrassed, and frustrated, and Madoka (Ui~~~~) pulled off a convincing Leviathan with the few seconds she had. The scene also reminded me that the Stakes are the greatest when they're together, and for violent, sadistic murderers... they sure can make a guy's heart melt. Bezeelbub and Asmodeus... uuu~ Glad that the whole episode was focused on Beato's past and the First Twilight, so now they can go crazy with the next episode. If they keep up with what they've been doing so far, then DEEN can surely make the next episode one to remember. |
