C.C. gets to know Lulu, Lulu gets to know C.C.'s name, that leprechauns can transform into beautiful women, that their gold thing is all hype and the buggers just love to go around causing mischief, and thats about it.

Euphemia gets to know more about Suzaku, Suzaku gets to know what a sheltered princess does to pass time(i.e. jail break practise, lying, practising her poses, seems she has a ways to go before she reaches Lulu's and Clovis' skill, talking to animals an running into rediculously dangerous situations even when warned before hand).

We get to know Cornelia is one bad-ass lady and has a thirst for vengence that seems to equals Lulu's own as she points a weapon at a subordinate in anger and impatience.

Euphemia's out of the castle excursion reminds me of 'Roman Holiday' for some reason. It's nice to know that there is at least one decent character from Britannia side. And yes, Cornelia looks even more deranged and dangerous than Clovis.

Suzaku gets pwned by a cat, and then by the princess who ignores him at the very beginning when he tries to act cool or whatever;

Karen gets pwned by Lelouche ("Kore nani?" "Saa nandarou") :D

Lelouche gets pwned by C2, then his imouto ("Big bro is moving faster than expected"), and then by C2 again, repeatedly. :D

Doing a stress test on his geas power by forcing a student to carve crosses on a wall day after day

.. and actually saves Jerimiah from a trap set by his own clique in the military. Vieletta helps out too. Previews for the next episode show that Jerimiah is being locked up and questioned but it seems possible now he might be helping Suzaku out in the future

C-2 has more of a personality that i thought :D she completely owned lulu in that sense lol...
seeing suzaku and Euphemia i cant stop but wonder that its going to turn into another relationship...
the karen and lulu scene was hot :heh: shes going to be falling for him in no time ;)

CC amused me a lot. I liked how she just shows up at Lelouch's place and school. She still wouldn't tell him how she lived. I swear when he first saw her, he had that "I SEE DEAD PEOPLE" look on his face. I hope to see CC and Lelouch collaborate even more.

Suzaku ruined the episode for me because he's got that Kira Yamato vibe....and Lancelot was kinda like Freedom Gundam, and his whole "stop the fighting now!" thing (twice in the episode) was just so reminiscent of Kira...and Euphemia has that Lacus feel going for her too.

However, I did like how the episode juxtaposed Lelouch and Suzaku's little speech in the second half of the episode...it's a good contrast at the very end to see what their different goals are (or Suzaku's lack thereof..."I don't really know what we need to do, but we gotta stop all fighting first!" - gee, that sounds JUST LIKE KIRA YAMATO!!!)

I don't think Suzaku should be lumped up with Kira though, even if they do give out some similarly close vibes. Kira felt more melancholic in his character presentation as opposed to Suzaku, who feels more ragged, not neccesarily a bad thing. I can't say that Euphie don't have Lacus vibes, but I sure hope it doesn't generate into Queen Euphie-ism.

C.C shouldn't be too hard to keep from Nanaly if she keeps her mouth shut, and Kallen shouldn't really matter in the long run so long she's not wearing Lelouch's clothes and start being all over Lelouch...but I don't know if I can say the whole same for Suzaku. It'd be amusing to see how Lelouch will most probably hide C.C from Suzaku.

I like the way the plot develops here:

The effective introduction of Cornelia as a battle hardened ice maiden, skilled KF pilot (love the demonic looking design) and all round mean bitch. Lelouch is going to have to up his game to defeat her. I predict she'll be a ruthless opponant and brings further hurt to Area 11.

I was waiting for Viletta to remember the student from before her memory loss. So is this why Suzaku ends up in the Ashford Academy next week because Viletta recalls the uniform? But surely Suzaku knows Lelouch was there at the scene, so this'll be interesting to see if he keeps that secret.

It was quite interesting to see Lelouch losing his cool with CC and deceiving Nanaly. Small point but it did not go unnoticed.

C.C is the highlight of the episode for me. In turns flightly, sexy and mysterious, remaining just as ellusive and keeping all her secrets intact. I loved her larking around behind Karen, in fact that whole scene was hilarious. I could listen to Yukana's sultry voice all day. In one or two shots C.C gives Lelouch some sly sinister looks which further suggests she's got many more secrets.

So the Karen/Lelouch/Shirley love triangle seems to be developing nicely. Although I feel sorry for both Karen and Shirley (and that poor schoolgirl etching crosses) as they're just innocent victims of Lelouch's selfish game. I prefer hotheaded tomboy Karen to soppy schoolgirl Karen. The sooner she snaps out of her Lelouch crush or flies fearing exposure or discovers Lelouch's Zero or something to get her out of the Academy the better.

As for Yuffie-hime, lol, as Garten mentioned it's a familiar premise to have a royal masquerading as a commoner, but it was pretty well done if a little convoluted. I'm not entirely sure I like Omi Minami's voice, but it did seem to be less squeeky at the end. I wonder how much influence, if any, she can exert over Cornelia. Their relationship will be interesting to observe as Cornelia hunts down Zero.

I think I like Suzaku more after this ep. The twist at the end with him defending Jeremiah was excellently staged. The whole last ten minutes of the show was brilliantly paced. We got a good look at those twin swords, although the Lancelot did take some damage from that freaking machine gun bomb. Jeez, that's one nasty anti-personnel weapon.

Special mention goes to the music in this ep. Especially the track at the end during the battle and the track playing during C.C's scenes with Lelouch. Making the OST a must buy for me.

Next ep looks like fun. Hope we get to see Cornelia in action and that KF of hers.

-Cornelia as a badass royal lady with a lust for hunting down zero. Not that I haven't seen such characters before, but it will certainly be interesting to see how it all turns out when she's up against Lelouch.

*Gem of the episode: C.C owning Lelouch. It was really fun (and funny) to watch Lelouch lose his cool, and C.C certainly surprised me. One would have thought she would be an ice-cold maiden who answers questions robotically, and here we have a pizza-loving, somewhat cheeky and most interesting green-haired babe who seems to be able to handle the calculating Lulu without much trouble at all. :heh: The only piece of evidence pointing to her spunkiness would come in episode 1 already, though, when she just jumps in front of Lelouch to take that headshot.

-Suzaku/Yufi's meeting. Kinda draws a parallel with Kira/Lacus's meeting, but I'd rather not delve too deep into that. ;) Suzaku certainly did himself a favour by thinking that ending all suffering isn't possible, thus possibly tearing off the tag that screamed 'IDEALIST!' on him. (At least, half of it).

-Mecha action sequences: Pretty cool of Lancelot with its twin swords, and the way how Suzaku intervened. I'm even more pleased that Lancelot takes hits like that, showing that not everything's as invincible as we think they are (E.g. The power of Geass).

-Love triangle: Wasn't that much of an interesting thing for me, but I'd say so if they start giving Shirley a little more screentime of importance. :)

Area 18 seems very much like a Middle East country, or perhaps Arabia or Afghanistan?

I think it might not be so much that C.C. is "still" alive, as much as it is that she's "alive again."

What I mean is, could she have a Miang from Xenogears thing, where if her current body dies she just awakens in another female body or something? It seems a bit too big/grand-scale for this series, since that would mean origin-of-life and stuff is involved, but it would certainly explain how she's there. And she's certainly not a ghost. :heh:

I'm surprised at how properly written those articles that about Zero that require squinted eyes to read properly. No, I'm not talking about that amusing Public Enemy Poster which had solid English as well.

Ermm...in the first manga (not the 'Suzaku's Counterattack' manga, which follows Suzaku instead of Lelouch), Lloyd also happens to be a part-time doctor or teacher in Ashford Academy - and that's where Suzaku woke up after he got shot...but since the manga is way different from the anime series (well, both manga storylines, to tell you the truth), everything's possible and nothing's a sure-fire anymore.
