As I think all of us already noticed :) , the world of K-On! features (and will feature) a number of characters, but it definitely revolves around the four main girls. In alphabetical order by given name:

• Mio
• Ritsu
• Tsumugi
• Yui

You have 1 single vote. Use it wisely since once casted you cannot come back to change it. The poll is public, so votes will be visible to everyone.
Please note that this poll is not related with the "Favourite Character Poll" (including all the significant characters) which we will open at the end of the series.

Considering her absurd and inexplicable level of popularity and the fact that she's the only one with any significant development this is a given. This is one of those times where it's just pointless to have a poll.

I voted for Ritsu...because she's so funny... Most of the time, the story in each episode progresses because of her. She's the one who always say, "let's do this!"

Anyways I vote Ritsu. She's quite the social yet overly energetic/hyperactive character that is easily distracted/bored. Fitting for someone who plays the drums I think. She also seems to like bringing out the most interesting things that come to mind for her to talk about. She's like the exact opposite of Mio (which is odd given how close they are as friends). True I have a drummer bias to some degree but she's a very likeable character imo.


And yes I was tempted to pity vote for poor Mugi. God do I ever hope the second half of this series brings justice to her character. She's really gotten the short end of the stick here thus far

Yup, another main character poll will be done at the end of the series. And a generic character poll (with all the characters, and multiple choice) as well. Those who were on the Lucky Star forum when the show was airing should know the drill.
I also thought this poll may be a bit redundant, but we sort of promised to do one when the series started ... and I like to keep promises no matter what. However, I still see a reason for this poll to exist. It's well known who the most loved character is, but I still haven't a clear idea on who would be the second choice.

As for myself, I would have voted Mio hands down, if it was for episodes 1-2 and say.. 3. But from that point onwards I think they've gone a bit over the top with her. And, she was a kuudere in the first episode, then became a tsundere, and progressively has become a derederedere more than anything. At least the other 3 have stayed consistent, in regards of the - few - character development they've had.

Maybe in this moment my favourite is Ritsu, at least she's actually funny (as in "crazy funny" towards "repetitively clumsily unwillingly funny") :)

I would've been happier with a multiple choice poll since I haven't 100% made up my mind about the girls yet... :D
