The YES NO monologue was handled really well. And the restaurant scene :D:D I love how they animated the waitress too. SnK planes wow.

Shaft seems to like kaiki...animation was well done than the previous arcs...

ED is great too. Feels like its winter.

Shaft has a giant boner for Hitagi, 6 episodes for this arc and completely butcher the Shinobu ones? For shame.

They might. Although if we went with that logic, Tsubasa Tiger was pretty well done and had 5 eps too. :p

But yeah, did not expect 6 eps, almost as much as Karen Bee was, and without the diverse character focus that was there. Least we know they will cash in well on this. XD

Wow. How come Shaft never thought of keeping the previous arc quality like they did in this episode?

Interestingly, Aloha shirts seem to be invented by Japanese immigrants in Hawaii. The flowery patterns originally came from kimono fabrics. Nowadays in Okinawa they are promoting kariyushi shirts, which are basically the same thing as Aloha shirts, only with an Okinawan spin. It's the pizza effect.

The ending animation has almost all the Monogatari characters, including Yotsugi from the past two Monogatari stories.

I liked when Hitagi's glasses started to change , specially the mustache =w=

The novel has 39 chapters, so the anime should have at least five episodes. The anime has the chapters posted in solid colored screens, but I believe most watchers just ignore them.

Speaking of, is the guy between Araragi and Oshino in the beginning of the ED supposed to be Kaiki?
The hair isn't right, or at least it's different from what he had in the Nise EDs.

Well at least one of these stories feels like it's done well. (so far) Neko shiro was too though. So at least it's gona be a nice way to end this airing. I guess I'm alright with the 6 eps, considering the pace of this one. And the ED is nice and wintery too which fits the arc but also the current weather and time, which is great. I love it when that happens.

I thought the scenes and settings were drawn creatively and was visually pleasing. Lush Colors everywhere.

I'm always glad Shaft pays attention to details like hair length, and lengthens them accordingly. Hitagi looks really cute with the length/kind of short hair she has now. I like those kinds of hairstyles.

Vofan's hitagi was nice too~ Like any other artist it's fun to look at the first illustrations he did and then the latest and compare.

No, it actually isn't, Mayoi Jiangshi didn't air with the OP right away either. It's time constraint.

As I said in the LN discussion, this must be tsukimonogatari (yotsugi doll) getting animated or the whole final season getting no anime. Too much foreshadowing from shaft again.

Man, I didn't realize it was Hitagi talking to Kaiki until the end of the episode.

I gotta say, for how pivotal Kanbaru seems to be to multiple stories this season, she certainly hasn't had much screen time. She's either last or second last, vying only with Karen I believe.

Certainly they love to market Hitagi as the main girl, but as I remember she did not appear much in this novel. She only appeared in the beginning, and only had some short later meeting with Kaiki.

But who cares about Hitagi? I love Kaiki. The man is here, that alone could make me happy enough.

I'm definitely in the Hitagi x Kaiki bandwagon and ready to set sail. I'm sure if I brainstorm enough along with a few hit in the head at the right places, I can come up with few believable reason why Hitagi will want to rekindle an old flame in Kaiki.

I was grinning like an idiot through out the entire episode. Kaiki just cracks me up.
