the final confrontation... way better than the sort version in Bakemonogatari/Shita
very little reused animation from Bake/Nise-
direction and art had some brilliant moments
fewer heroines help a lot more than one can imagine

... and her selection of underwear (considering her age and nationality) :bow: Makes me wonder if her "family" is using her in more sketchy ways :naughty:

Kizu- had to be available before this (as well as Nise-), but in this case it is more significant
animation and art had some issues
music (both songs and BGM)
too much of Koyomi inner thoughts
too many ad-breaks ruined the mood
story telling doesn't flow as smoothly as it did in Bake- and Nise- (too many times inner thoughts were vocalized instead of animated)... some might find this less confusing, but not me

This... was honestly amazing. I didn't expect the whole story to be so much more intricate and emotional, this is easily a return to form after lackluster Nisemonogatari.

I thought of calling it that too but all those CMs man.

The CM is probably because of the "A-Part → CM → B-Part → CM → ED → CM → Preview" regular organization. So you got one 10 seconds part (supposed to be "Next Episode Preview"), then followed 2-3 minutes CM.

CM issues aside, I love the show. It is a lot better than I expected.

(Although I wish there was Kizu's PV instead of Zenmonogatari. Sigh.)

I rewatched the PV online... the word after 2013 (開幕) means premier/opening... not autumn (秋)

Also seeing that Hanekawa is usually the one that gets the most "criticism" amongst the fanbase hopefully this special will increase the love for her. (It seems at least the fellows at /a/ has a better view of her now)

That's why I have been saying since Nise- flames, that Kizu- knowledge is necessary to avoid all that nonsense from non-novel readers :p
