So according to Amazon.jp every dvd or blu-ray has 3 episodes, instead of the usual 2 episodes. Oddly enough, these discs are less expensive (￥ 6k for the first blu-ray) than the average price (usually ￥7k - 8k) for a regular anime. Maybe that would explain the "lower looking" (note, i think the anime looks fine though) production values.

Volumes 1-8 have 3 episodes and retail at a MSRP of 8,190 yen. Volume 9 has two episodes and retails at a MSRP of 7,140 yen. The prices you saw are after Amazon takes off its usual 26% discount.

Do they feature english subs?

There won't be any english subs.

I snatched her from HLJ one year ago,along with others that were purchased right after like Kotobukiya Rin Natsume Gemaga Ver.,Toy's Works Mio Nishizono,Kotobukiya Yuiko Kurugaya and Noumi Wafu Ver. I'm still missing some cause evilbay is still evilbay so I'm just hoping that Alter,Koto etc will re-release something for the next year

I hope for lots of re-releases and new figures. i would like to see a new Mio and Haruka by GSC/Max Factory, Kotobukiya or Alter.

Am hoping for a BD boxset to sit alongside my Air/Kanon/Clannad/Clannad:AS boxsets... :)

But since it's not Pony Canyon, I'm not too sure.

The theme in common with those four boxsets is that they were all released on DVD first and then upscaled/re-released in those boxsets. Warner has already planned a BD release for Little Busters, but they've also solicited re-releases in BD-Box form for Ro-Kyu-Bu! and Kamisama no Memocho which had BD releases, so it's possible they'll re-release it in 2014 in box format.

Yeah, I also have the complete set of Clannad and Clannad:AS DVDs because I loved the "gifts" with all the limited edition releases. I'll need to check if there are included extras with the individual LB DVD and BD releases...

As someone mentioned on the myfigurecollection site, they left out the red lines of the skirt on Rin. Kud has the lines on her skirt http://myfigurecollection.net/item/61279 . Also preorders for re-release on Kud are up online.

Yeah, that's a bummer. It's because the red lines are not in the anime version skirts.
