The ending was kind of cool (except for that reveal concerning a certain guy with a cross) and I do like Shu hasn't actually gone 180 so suddenly. Other than that, the episode was just okay. I liked how Shu was running the place, and Argo was a nice touch, but like Episode 14, it sort of came and went.

Yay! So Inori is now turning into Mana now! I love that yandere incestuous sister of Shu! At last, some character development for Inori (hopefully)!

So if Shu used it and not holding their hands then they fainted. Hey, thank you for showing us after 4 episodes instead of telling that since episode 13. Oh well.

Eh, Shu actually still the same indecisive guy to me...just being manipulated by Yahiro. And really, Haruka, you the one who didn't agree of Shu in danger now you are willing?!

I guess Gai really can't stay dead. Is he becoming zombie or something? In another note, that Daarth guy seems to imply that Voids is pieces of Mana. And for the girl who died because of her void broke, doesn't the void automatically returns to its owner if its released? Of course, this could be the case the Void didn't have enough time to return. Note to Shu, when you want to save someone save his/her Void too. Pity Shu doesn't have a Void canceler that cancels the Void immediately if the owner is in danger.

Kingdom from voids for Voids....
One thing for sure, Shu doesn't lead them because he want to
but because he is the only one who can help most of them to get out alive.

(If he stop than everyone will get killed because of red wall/chaos.)

And what's the difference? Week ago he was all like "ima gonna kick some ass and chew some gum and i'm all out of gum", but now he's just a Yahiro's pawn. Now is the best time to have some progress.

At least make decisions yourself.

Shu was making his own decisions. From what I could tell, Yahiro was just there to give Shu a shove when his conscience reared its head. And with the way this episode ended, even that may no longer be necessary.

Didn't see a single thing from him. Right now he is jsut the same as Simon in TTGL after the timeskip - King, but just a nominal figure, with Yahiro(just like Rossiu) taken over the buisness

Spoiler for Arisa:

He did make the decisions himeself.
Yahiro = adviser ( All kings have them).
He tell him his opinion but the end is up to Shu.
like when Argo told him to stop while Yahiro told him not.
Shu decide not.
(Since that is the only option to survive, after all stopping is same as waiting for death {red wall}).

By the way, why are they sending whole fleet to Japan?

If he wasn't, then I would have complained about his constant mood swings again. Nobody can change that fast. I don't know how much time has passed since the last episode, but it can't have been that long.

Kirito 2012-02-09 15:06

What a trippy episode.

1. Shu's sanity continues to spiral downward
2. Voids are the instruments of the owners own destruction
3. Inori possibly a yandere with a split personality (I sort have had a feeling but couldn't refute that logic)
4. Gai making a return.
5. A war is going to break out from three sides.

This just keeps getting better and better has things have drifted from bad to worse

blakstealth 2012-02-09 15:17

Lol, I was right about Gai coming back (but who didn't see that coming durr). 2 for 2!

Looks like things turned out how I expected them to be. Poor Argo and Arisa, though. :/

Also, sparkles make everything better!

Forgot to mention: I'm guessing that when Yuu is saying "shards," he's referring to Voids?

endarion88 2012-02-09 15:22

okay i alway say i liked this show no matter how much bad it turned but after this episode i really fell like dropping this ...and lol even the mother turned agaist shu

Well, according to one of the lines Shu used, it has been a couple of days since Hare's death, and we can easily say that there have been some very noticable changes.

Firstly, it seems that within those few days, Shu has created an organisation out of the students left in the school. The lower ranked students have to fend for themselves when it comes to getting their own vaccine according to Shu, and if they can't, Shu believes that they shouldn't waste their resources on students that can't even fend for themselves because it wouldn't be worth it. Originally, the normal Shu would never have thought this, but because he's completely changed, his thoughts and opinions have also changed to those that he feels are acceptable in the current world their all in. The strongest live, the weakest get left behind.

Secondly. Yahiro seems to be Shu's right hand man. Coincidence? Wasn't everybody talking about how Yahiro planned everything in the last thread. I believe this is going to go somewhere. The right hand man will eventually betray and take over, it happens on a lot of occasions. He then hears about the lies being spread around about the void causing Hare's death and he felt threatened. This could also mean that maybe he's manipulating and using Shu for his own purposes.

Thirdly, the people from episode 14 that once hated Shu and were looking to turn in the Funeral Parlor are now loyal servents to him who are stealing the vaccine from other people still in the city. The rest of the students who doubted him in earlier episodes now treat him with respect and don't get in his way because they know he is a leader to fear. People even idolise him now. Shu is turning into Gai. Ayase idolised Gai, and now similar things are happening with Shu.

Shu threatened Ayase, Arugo and Souta and only fully trusts Inori. Things are starting to piece together.

Also, whoever that girl is with that aweomse scyth void is freaking awesome! Let her have her own action scene or something, and don't let her die, plleeaassee! :p

Why did they have to make Shu look so weak against Arugo. He finally becomes a badass and yet he still can't fight back :uhoh: Well, at least now we know that if people's voids are broken, they themselves die as well.

But, it appears all this change, both emotilnally and physically, plus the pressure being put on Shu, he's starting to go crazy. And Inori killed/injured Arisa! This is going to lead to nothing but trouble.

And oh my god, is that Gai at the end!?

ars89 2012-02-09 15:26

Lol Argo wasn't expecting that, hope Shu didn't kill him. So he's being manipulated by Yahiro. I'm guessing Kuhouin died. Seems like Inori is becoming more like Mana. The other void use made it sound like all the voids are part of Mana. So if you destroy a void not only do you destroy the person, but that void returns to Mana? Still no idea what Haruka is doing helping Keido. She said it was part of Kurosu's will, but if that's right he was messed up as well. Wow they brought back Gai, didn't see that coming.

willyvereb 2012-02-09 15:31

Could it be that Shuu's mother is being brainwashed/mind-controlled? I mean given her strange, slightly mechanical outfit.

Anyways, it's getting consistently more annoying how the creators are making up random plot twists without any sense of properly foreshadowing them. Or when they do foreshadow events, they're doing it wrong.
For example the reason behind Hare's death.
