The purpose of this thread is to discuss, critique and idolize the Voice Actor cast of Angel Beats!. Please remember that the discussion should center on their performances as professional voice actors and not on the show content (which can be discussed in the various Episode threads). Please remember this simple rule when critiquing a VA's performance or reading another forum member's critique:

• Don't take it personally.
  In other words, you’re free to disagree with another person’s opinion, but don’t flame them if they offer a well written and well thought out analysis that differs from your own opinion. Keep it civil.
  
  
• Voice Actors are human.
  Yes, it’s true. They’re human. Therefore, don’t just indiscriminately rip them and their work apart as if they’re inorganic objects. You don’t have to praise them non-stop, but be thoughtful in your criticism.

This thread might duplicate some discussion in the Episode threads, but it can also serve to demystify various VA roles, disseminate VA information (VA Bios, VA photos, etc) and provide cast information of various types as well as discussion about performances.

Hiroshi Kamiya is appearing in everything, now. D=

It's been a while since I last heard Sakurai Harumi/Kazane, so it was ear-candy when she displayed that in terms of tsunderes she is no slouch. (You can say she's the H-game version of Rie Kugimiya. Both are queens of tsunderes)

Kana Hanazawa's role as Tenshi was also pretty much win material. But it's a bit sad that she only utters 1 or 2 sentences at most during ep 2. xD

I enjoy eroge seiyuu going into the light. Okay not really, but Kazane Sakurai Harumi is kind of cool.

Also Michael Rivas ftw. When Hanazawa Kana puts me to sleep, his one or two lines will wake me up.

Well, there's already several eroge-anime seiyuus or vice versa like Shizuka Itou and Hitomi Nabatame
I think Jun Maeda drafted Harumi to join after her performance as Saya in LB ex. xD

It was more a stab at how there's been more of them appearing recently.

And that's probably it, despite me not playing those kinds of games. I heard Kazane is pretty awesome, something like the eroge version of Kugyuu.

Well, the two usually voice the same roles. Kugimiya Rie voices the all-ages, while Kazane voices the H-version

For example: Akane iro. Both KugiRie and Kazane (hey, K and K!xD) voiced Hime.
And DCII PS/PC. Both voiced Erika, with Kazane voicing PC.

And I am not sure about this one. But I think on nico, the two voiced in a drama cd of some kind. (again, need clarification.)

Yeah, I'm surprised at that as well!

This, Arakawa, Bakemonogatari, Zetsubou Sensei, Working! and many more. He's in all of em'.

He has a great voice, imo - really calming, and makes me want to take interest in the character he voices just because of the voice. xD Obv, no homo.
