Can't wait for this episode, I hope this will shed some more light on Mio's bass! (Do want the bass, do want the bass) though I have a similar and even better one o:

This may be the most anticipated episode of the 2nd season to date. I can't help but to wait anxiously for it. Even if it's a so-so episode, it's about Mio!

I'm hoping it covers the stuff between the end of Season 1 and the start of Season 2...as they skipped a few manga chapters...most of it focused on Mio.

This episode had:
- Character development
- Manga content mixed in well with anime original content
- Music!
THIS is what a K-On episode should be like. Next one looks like Yui's.

Remember season one? Here "she" is elaborated upon. Basically some parts are a 2nd year flashback.

I usually think that flashbacks are things to be used sparingly, but it worked well with this episode. It also gave it a nice note to end off on.
Thinking about it, that chapter would have not worked well on its own anyways.

Ah, this episode covered what I was hoping it would cover. Which is good because I was worried they'd skip over it. Also, the stuff they added to it was nice to have.

I have a bit of problem with the continuity here...Azusa doesn't remember Sogabe, yet in episode 11 of the first season, she was there when they were apologizing for the late auditorium usage form...

Not all I wanted, but the other Mio centered arc can really be done anytime.

I think some people will be happy this arc finally got made.

What was with this creepy episode... It's bad enough listening to crazy Mio fa-... worshipers on the net, but in the actual anime too...? Ueeh...
The very last part was actually nice for some reason (1. Because they finally sung a complete song without being cut short in this season? 2. Because the song was better than the OP/ED?)... But the good atmosphere the song built up crashed thanks to the ED... Boohoo...

Haven't seen episode yet but I never understood why Mio is the one with fan club... Yes she sang nice and all, but Yui also sings well. And whole K-ON preforms good so why only Mio has a fan club?

I always found it slightly irritating and unfair...
