And kinda have a feeling you'll be the first to post here for some reason :p

Anyways, more Mikoto is WIN

Utau 2009-03-18 04:14

Heck yes! :D

i kinda knew they wouldn't let this chance slip away, sort of.. :heh:

... I am surprised and incredibly elated.

Arkard 2009-03-18 08:30

YAY! Is this being produced as the second season of the current series or separate?

Miraluka 2009-03-18 08:35

Maybe a parallel story.

It's Mikoto. That draws me in like bees to a beehive. :3

Well, if it is animated following the manga, it will be seperate/parralel story. No parasites, no magicians! Pure Mikoto action!... And more

And just because this is really awesome news, once more...
キタ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━!!

Tjaard 2009-03-18 10:31

And finally we can see more Mikoto in action and Kuroko too :D

Most of the story of the original To Aru Kagaku no Railgun manga is a parallel sidestory set before Index's saving, so they'll most likely follow that format here.

Midonin 2009-03-18 10:49

Who am I to say no to more Biri Biri? This is great news.

Sterling01 2009-03-18 11:24

The best part about this news is if it's a full series we might get Mikoto-tan.

FlareKnight 2009-03-18 11:50

Now this is some great news :D.

I've really enjoyed reading it and knowing it's getting animated really brightens my day. The more Mikoto the better I say. Heck since it should be pre-Index we can even get old Touma back though limited behind the true lead of this series :).

Bees are drawn to beehives? Isn't that like saying that I'm drawn to my house?

Anyway, this is good news. Railgun seems to be of a higher quality than Index so far.

Yeah, should have said 'like bees to honey' but since honey is made in beehives in the first place... *shrug* Same basic principle, methinks. :p

Do we have any news on when we can expect this anime?

Mentar 2009-03-18 15:42

Touma in Railgun is "Touma done right". No endless preachy monologues, but rather a friendly and unpretentious helper in times of need. And awesome to rile up Mikoto ^_^

Anyway, Railgun is the Index universe done right. I'd love to get it!

Nosauz 2009-03-18 15:44

sigh... why couldn't they have done the anime on this... really I just find index to be pretentious and her flare no where near as entertaining compared to misaka. Also misaka+makoto=win nothing else.

Eh? Who is Makoto?

BlueDo 2009-03-18 16:28

This is amazing.
Not many volumes of Railgun have been out, and they're already announcing anime!
Needless to say: I'm really looking forward to it.
