Super Robot Wars UX (3DS)
 

The 3DS Super Robot Wars has finally been revealed in Famitsu to be Super Robot Wars UX, with a release date of March 14th, 2013. It will apparently have DLC.

The new series in this one are:

-The Wings of Rean
-Demonbane
-Fafner: Heaven and Earth
-Virtual-On (Fei-yen HD)
-SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors
-Gundam 00: A wakening of the Trailblazer
-Mazinkaizer SKL
-Heroman

Man... I thought Z3 would be the first SRW to get the 00 Movie. Guess they couldn't wait for Z3 to come out.

All inclinations seem to point towards Z3 being on the PSP still due to low PSVita selling strength in comparison, the Z system is already on the PSP, and the PS3 has a vastly more expensive style. The 3DS getting its own standalone game using a far different art style seems to confirm this.

Too bad the 3DS is region locked, you're gonna need a Japanese 3DS to play this. I feel your pain fellow SRW fans.

Worth noting it seems they're just using a modified DS base instead of the Z style(despite the 3DS having the power to support it even if the building blocks in the system are different) for this which makes sense.

Full cast list apparently. There's no UC Gundam, Getter, or Kouji... I guess they feel that Mazinkaiser SKL still counts towards the Holy Trinity of SRW.

Heard the main producer this time is not Terada, is that true?

And any info yet if this will be fully voiced? My disappointment will increase if it's fully voiced, I've been hoping to use Yuki and her Wingle from SKL on SRW since she is voiced by Saori Hayami :heh:


And didn't realize before that Gundam Brave Battle Warrior/Three Kingdom is listed too. With Fei-Yen and that living Gundam, will we get crossover romance but in form of mecha x mecha? XD

As soon as I saw that name in the list, I honestly began consdering getting a JP 3DS just for this game if I can afford it in my budget. (which will be fine since I don't have a 3DS at all yet, and I find that I don't care for most US-only Nintendo system titles anyway)

Stiil, it figures that this couldn't be for the PSP or the even the Vita. :mad:

Now we just need to get Jinki/Jinki:Extend and Soukou no Strain into SRWs, and my "titles you want to see in SRW" list is complete. :D

People are saying that it'll be completely voiced.
I'm more interested to see how Setsuna will react to those guys :heh:

Anyway, let's just wait for tomorrow for more information :heh:

Is it me, or does the animations look bad compared to SRW L....
Sometimes they are jumping, without changing in sprite animation.. just slide up... very awkward

..They look even worse than W (since it's the only DS SRW game that I've played) in my opinion. It might look better in final product though!

Miku Hatsune in my SRW.........I can't describe a word though.

But still no Muv Luv Alter in a SRW...

I took one look at those Demonbane scenes. And Fangasmed. :eyespin:

I don't see how those animations are bad, the sprite movements were very articulate. I didn't see any "stick figure movement" at all. :eyebrow:
