How many Hellsing volumes have been released thus far?

Currently there are 8 volumes released of HELLSING manga. volume 8 got out in July 2006.

I'll be updating my first post soon with a few rules to this thread. rules will be about the type of posts allowed in this thread. of course questions about the number of volumes currently available in japan are allowed.

Novels - it is like normal books with just text in it based on a manga?

And the manga\novel Ai DeathGUN , can't find any information on it. I stubled over this page http://www.mee-maker.com/death_gun/death_gun.html and it seems like it will be an anime? I don't understand japanese...

Novels don't have anything to do with manga >.< read the wiki for info about novels.

Anyway, what I have been mentioning are not novels, but light novels: light novels are like novels but with few pages of illustrations included in them.

Ahh I can't find anything mentioned on that site that says its getting an anime, but it got Drama CDs.
