Very sweet & romantic in the end.

The song Last Christmas by Wham! would fit perfectly for this episode.

I hope somebody can make an AMV about Haruka & Junichi using the song Last Christmas.

Still thus a sweet ending there. Ah the power of not giving up.

A very good end to Haruka's arc, I enjoyed, and had to love her logic that he should have peaked :heh:. Also liked how they had meant the year before was interesting.

Haruka arc overall gets a 8.5 from me, and this episode was a 9.

Quite a nice ending. I kinda didn't get the whole "why didn't you confess to me again" part, when he's clearly been giving his attention to her, but it was still nice to see Jun erect a mature response that comforted her.

For the Haruka's arc, I would give it a 8.5

I especially loved the ending where quoted from Haruka's friend that they are a weird couple, and then Junichi just comes in all detective like... Well you pretty much know what happens next..

Still very enjoyable arc, but Junichi really does have a fetish to kiss "parts other then the lips".....

What Haruka did in episode 4 implies quite a bit. XD

A girl invites a person she loves to a hotel room, knowing that they would be alone... She announced that she would be taking a bath (In Japan, you generally take a bath as a prelude before... *cough*sex*cough*

At least their conversation was touching. She didn't know what to do, since Junichi didn't make any moves, eh?

When I saw "10 years later", I was hoping to see a child run around. All I did was O.O when Junichi barged in.

9/10, for the touching events

That was probably what the majority was thinking, that was going to happen with Haruka in a towel, and talking to Junichi about confession and all.

It was touching, the fact Haruka did not have any "Love" experience since she declined any confessions that the boys at her school would give to her. She mostly has 'Friendship" experience. So she was completely clueless to what she would do, or how to do it.

I was expecting that also, a child would have made all the viewers know what happened that night of the confession :heh:

We really don't need such a thing, i mean it's 10 years and they're married, so they're bound to have made love sometime during their relationship :p. Don't see why it matters if it was on that night or not.

True, they were married, and it was bound to happen. But it still is mysterious to some fact, because it could mean they have done it so many times but could never get a child out of it. Or they never did it.

Just trying to figure out if it was that night just makes it seem more reasonable while they were in the mood :p

By the way, bringing this back to the topic... I don't really agree that the lack of children is any hint towards something lacking in their sex lives. Some people simply do not want children, for whatever reasons. Or, they could simply not want them yet. The fact that they're both happily married was enough for me, at least.

Alright I just rushed through the first arc, some thoughts about it.
I'm really impressed with the girls' art, it's subtle, yet stunning at the same time - so much better than most ecchi series (coming from someone that actually likes ecchi stuff ;) ).

The plot on the other hand was really strange though. Starting with the pace of the first 3 episodes I really thought this series was a more realistic approach to the matter of highschool romance given the fact that the sweet moments were scarce and mostly unimpressive, so I kinda reconciled with that.
However the amount of sweetness at the end of ep 4 hit me like a truck full of sugar. The girl formerly keeping her cool and rarely showing her affection bursted out in super-dere mode, even became desperate and crying? She thought he had given up when they were on a date that he asked for? Heh? :eyebrow: Although the scene itself was quite good I thought it was a little out of place and character.

That was a very nice arc, I watched it in 1 night. I wish there were more moments like kissing behind the knee which was both cute and very lustful and embarrassing for both of them.

And Haruka really reminds be of Tohsaka Rin from Fate/Stay night in terms of appearance.

Sorry for the major bump but seems nobody has posted about the extra scene in this episode (released for BD/DVD) yet so I'll just fire away...the extra scene sure was a funny one
