Briefly, Mobile Suit girls with adequate animation
 

I'm looking for an (action) anime that has the protagonists comprise of people that can equip/materialise/summon their battle gear; which means that they have a 'normal form' which they lose all superpowers and they can change at will. Out of that cast, more than half of them have to be female and more than half of the females have to be below the age of 16. Males cross-dressing as females count as females.

Their 'combat form' should be close to their 'normal form' in terms of size. I don't want an anime where they summon/get into giant robots and pilot them. The navigation system should be something like move human left arm, armor's left arm moves; think flight, boosters ignite. There must be metallic looking parts attached to most of their body and the weapons have to be physical, no magic (other than summoning the armor/weapon(s) if necessary).

Other than the points above, the anime has to satisfy at least one criteria in the spoiler below.


If the anime has any of these elements, I don't want to watch it even if it has everything else.


These are the series I have watched that almost satisfied everything I've posted.


If the characters look like this (some images are nsfw), I'll mostly be sold.

Hajime has a nice transformation in the current Gatchaman Crowds, though we have only seen it two or three times so far.

So far Utsutsu has only "transformed" in the sense that she now wears more clothing than the skimpy bikini she sported in the first couple of episodes. I think we may see her Gatchaman transformation soon.

There may be too many guys in this show to make you happy, though.

Hmmm this is a rather rare genre, tbh.

I'll suggest Senki Zesshou Symphogear all the gear users are female and in your desired age range :heh: (including the ones who appear in the 2nd season),
And one particular character design might sell you on it, though it's a spoiler since not an initial character

Thank you SeijiSensei and Konakaga for the suggestions; especially yours, Konakaga for filling in the additional elements. I have read a few episode summaries and watched episode 1 for both shows and decided that Senki Zesshou Symphogear is more appealing as of now. I'll finish it/catch up to the airing schedule before finishing/catching up to Gatchaman Crowds.

Well I know your criteria asks specifically for mobile suit girls, but if you can maybe, perhaps get past that, i think Panty & Stockings w/ Garterbelt has good transformation hotness with awesome abstract animation...

Sorry, I can't/won't. Furthermore, the two points you are trying to convince me with were not asked for (abstract doesn't mean adequate to me).
