Just an omnipresent reminder: There is still no confirmation whether this will be an anime TV series! Let's contain spreading rumors until they are confirmed. At this point, it could be an OVA (series) or even a movie. Unlikely, but not entirely impossible.

Season 3 to me sounds like another TV series.

It would be great if it turned out to be another full cour series. I'm very intrigued by the possibility of more Black Lagoon.

I'll be looking forward to updates on this.

Exactly, since usually the word "season" is in the title. OVA would be fine too. Again its Black Lagoon, anything is good!

That's why I'm mentioning this because Western folks gladly assume a "season" means something you watch on TV. What was written in MOON PHASE's announcement could be understood as a "stage", a sequenced event.

*thinks back to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei when it was announced*

Like I said, it's not confirmed, but there's a good chance that it really is a TV series.

It could be a win-win situation either way.

If it's going to be an OVA series, it could get a bigger budget, and if it's going to be a full-fledged tv series then that would be great as well.

Well, i'm going by the fact that there's enough manga material now for another 12 episode series. It'll be the best way to go about it.

I am not familiar with the manga (shame on me), but I hope we get to see more of Roberta. :D :D

I hope it will be the usual 12 episodes TV series, but if it turns out a shorter OVA series I won't complain :)

The only OVA I'll accept for BL is one with all the omakes. Female Rock FTW :p

Hearing Revy talk with her terrible english was one of my favorite parts of BL!! It always gives me a chuckle

And now that Funimation has reportedly taken over publishing S1 and S2 DVDs, I can't wait to hear how they handle the Fujiyama Gangster Paradise arc.

If by some odd twist of fate and lack of imagination on the show's staff, and it ends up getting called Black Lagoon: The Third Barrage....:uhoh:

Also, perhaps we can see more maids in action?

One maid is enough really. Roberta is in our hearts as the coolest maid besides Maid Guy. :heh:

Well, they can name it Third Strike I suppose, although that sounds like a rip from Street Fighter.
