Expectations:

Unfortunately, more of the creepy old lady

Asami and Sana moments

Nanaka sees Asami and bad things happen, she drops what she's holding and has to go get replacements.

Shuri moments

Yuzuki moments, for the first time in a while.

Miss Yuzuki to finally get some screentime, unfortunately beginning of Nanaka's worst case scenario :( , continuation of old lady arc, some character development for Syuri/Shuri, Asami & Syuu/Shuu.

My opinions:

Yuzuki: Yes, I suspected that she's that kind of person, lol.

Old Woman: Just as planned(?)......

Next Episode: Yes, finally we get somewhere :)

How come I never had teachers like that..... =(

now we know why Shuu says he has to take care of Shuri.

If it really is the cat in the box, then how come Asami heard the bell but Sana, who was holding the box, didn't ? Hmm.....

The psycho lady is getting creepier and creepier. Given the presence of a small lake the potential of a nice boating scene is getting stronger.

Wonder where they will take the step mother plot, either:
1) She truly loves her as her own and at some point will doing something to win Shuri's trust.
2) Really is after the money and will be off-ed higuraishi style.

I doubt it.

1) It's counter intuitive to spill the gist of the plot of a VN before the novel even starts selling...
2) Given 1), I doubt that a main character will die/kill if the anime is set prior to or during the game.

I'm quitting the entire anime romance genre if this ends up in any way like School Days.

It is not going to end up like school days so quit it! *sigh*

at most it will only get to shuffle level but even that is a stretch! :rolleyes:

I'm so used to heavy flavours that Shuffle grade drama might not cut it any more.

Either have a G8 ending or lets get a blood bath!!!

yay, finally caught up to ep.7.... initially started this series because of regista (as well as the KAORI OP), but it seems like M:Y is going to settle to my #2 for this season.

I liked how they played 'day-break' at the scene where Nanaka sees Sana & Asami... either that or I've been listening to the song too much as of late...

I'm surprised how Nanaka's turning out to be a character that scares me more than anything... not something that I expected. Hopefully they'll flesh out her story soon, but atm I'm rooting for Asami (oddly)...

Grandma Kaji has a stare that could haunt dreams. But at least the old man is fun to watch. Though with Sailor Fuku vs. Blazer, I really have to wonder what kind of fighting game that is. Moreso, where I can buy it. Super Moe Battle (if I had to call it anything, it would be that) looks fun.

I also liked the interaction between Shuu and Shuri in the beginning of the episode. "You're not thinking of something pleasant" being the best line. Good to see more of Asami and Yuzuki-sensei (I want to see her karaoke! Guess I can settle for waiting for her character song album).

Shuri's home life...poor Shuri. She's always been one of my favorites in the cast, and I really feel sorry for her. Going to all that trouble just to meet with defeat.

On a lighter note, the preview's ultra-serious tone, ending with "That sounds conceited, doesn't it?" was a nice, light moment to not leave one feeling totally depressed at the end of the episode. Things are picking up.
