And so the series ends! ... For now. A simple wrap up to the whole series, which still has much potential.

I thought I would be more nostalgic at the last episode but somehow I felt quite complacent. Everything is how everything should be. Misunderstandings wrapped up, no more secrets, and life goes on. There is nothing extraordinary in the final moment of the episode, but that is what the whole series is about: the irregulars that you see and hear about but don't see often in your daily routine.

There is only one moment that quite touched me:

I felt that was the best moment in this arc since seeing her face just makes me depressed most of the time. Undoubtedly this last episode could deliver much more, but this simple gesture is enough for me.


Now we get to wait what episode 25 is about~.



PS: Hima** is sooo slow .... wth? Had to watch this elsewhere this time.

SHIZUO COOL! (but really they really need to count on how many billboard or post he destroyed. His pretty resourceful that would just grab anything around him)

SIMON COOL! Love the K.O. Punch!

IZAKA DEMONIC COOL! (dagger vs katana)

ANRI ......cute (nice body(the night or rather they really put effort on her body when she's pointing that katana ( I just notice it) :p ) :D )
the policeman (forgot the name) is also cool but his so rarely been shown that I already forgot him.

Saki..... scary? or ... I just don't get this girl. Pretty twisted if you ask me but still they really love each other. And maybe she's just been too influence by izaya

Pretty anti climatic or rather normal ending but still awesome at some scenes.

Need more Namie.

EDIT:

I just got to say this but off all the place for that scene. It's just got to be the "L O V E" spot which I always so on live japanese drama

Shitty final episode. Only thing I liked was when Simon gave Izaya a black eye.

I've really enjoyed this, despite being spoiled more than once and then spoiling myself further. But it looks like the novels flesh a lot of things out better (e.g. Anri vs. Izaya scene here and here, many thanks to Anni)

As far as last episodes go, it kind of feels lacking, but the very last part of the episode ends it well, I guess.
The final boss of the anime was pretty pathetic though, those thugs. And cheat Shizuo finishes everything up again, hai hai. The animation was sure funny though during his part.

-Anri should have not given Izaya a weapon...
-Why... did Masaomi quit school? That felt really sudden.
-Izaya getting punched was awesome.
-For once, Saki's face didn't remind me of a snake.

I don't know which version you guys were using but the ones the chinese subbers got came with jap sub titles for the russian.

Say, how's Simon's russian?

Well, I am Russian, so I tried to translate directly from Russian into English, At least those parts I could understand, lol. And karice67 translated from jap. subs, I guess.
