Still, my oh my. Who could that mystery winner of D-block be? Perhaps..... Meadows (the guy wearing something like a walrus hide)? Or maybe this was Diamante's doing? Or maybe this could even be the emergence of yet another major player in this arc.....?

Well, we'll have lots of time to speculate on that, seeing as it'll be about 3 weeks before we get 734, lol. :p

I think its probably Meadow...maybe he is one of KAIDO'S underling?..or JACK...we dont now much about this JACK guy...he must be one of the important character..cant wait for the next chapter... ^___^

well...its Cavendish.....we all got to see a close up of all the fallen contestant faces....but we only see him lying on his back...cant see his face..

I guessing he went and do an omnislash and then took a rest after using all his stamina.

Seems to have been Rebecca.

Apparently it was someone with tremendous speed.
Toy Soldier commented Rebecca was too slow as Kid.
Prisoners were shocked Luffy beat her in speed.
Phantom Princess.
Hell, she even is the daughter of who is implied to have been Kyros who was only hit once.Makes sense if we think of amazing speed.

And Toy Soldier went on how Rebecca must "Stand Up" in the flashback, final panel of this chapter someone is standing up.

As for why Rebecca is down as well.
Toy Soldier, Rebeccas mentor went on how he is ready to give his life.

Besides,Someone in Block D took out everyone with amazing speed while at the same time, Lightning Soldier took out everyone with tremendous speed.
I'm guessing Oda may have intended that what happened in Block D being shown by what Toy Soldier does to Doflamingos man.
Toy Soldier even uses the same fighting stance as Rebecca while fighting them.

And is that fire I see?
Remember the Audience going on about setting Rebecca on Fire?Mummy seems to have been burned.

Oh...screw you Oda...why would you do that? At least show a silhouette or something!

Well considering th factory is below the stadium I think the matches will not even finish. I think the stadium is gonne colapse inward when the straw hats lay waste to the undergroud. Then the people will see what is really up and bank back on king rikus side.

I'm pretty sure Rebecca is the one who will stand up, but I have a hard time believing she was the one who knocked out everybody... that's way too incredible a feat, but anything is possible.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that whole mass knockout thing being Rebecca's doing.... not when we saw her struggling against Suleiman at the start of the chapter. Like I said before, I think it may have Meadows, since he was the only one of the named D-block fighters who wasn't shown this chapter.

Oh, and before anyone brings up the possibility of everyone being knocked out by conqueror's haki, Sabo's comments ("That sure was fast") clearly indicates that wasn't the case. ;)

What else..... well, I thought Thunder Soldier was cool this chapter. Heh, it's pretty badass how he pistol (well, more like rifle)-whipped all his enemies. I'm actually kinda interested in seeing how well he'd fare against one of Dofla's stronger officers myself, now....

Couldn't it be someone in the audience projecting king's haki into the ring?

^Again, Sabo's comment wouldn't make sense otherwise. The effects of king's haki were ALWAYS instant, so why would he bother pointing out how fast everyone got knocked out?

Another clue is that Haki knock outs tend to leave people with glazed eyes and foaming from the mouth. Not a single one of the fighters show that.

AND kings haki wouldn't have affect on some of the bigger players in the arena

That was Usopp's conqueror's haki, leaking out from underground.:uhoh:

You mean his alter ego Sogeking's Hero's Haki!(the ultimate haki!)

He sensed the dangers to come and so decided to give a helping hand, it's what a hero does;)

Pretty cool chapter and quite the cliff hanger.
The thing with Oda's cliffhangers is, be it not what we expect or what we expect the outcome tends to be pretty awesome regardless.
So looking forward to the reveal!

Definately a nice chapter. The only thing which bothers me a little bit is Usopp. I got the impression he matured a little bit during the 2 year timeskip and got a bit of confidence in his own powers (since he isn't that weak), but he is still is the same old coward.

I agree he should show some more guts when facing fodder.

Indeed. I mean being afraid of Doflamingo and the yonkou is one thing, but the random grunts? What happened to the ussop that introduced himself by kicking some fake strawhat ass?
