One Piece New World: Dressrosa arc discussion (anime-only)

Welcome to the discussion thread for the One Piece: New World: Dressrosa arc starting from episode 629. Please remember this is an anime-only thread so no discussion or reference to future events from the manga are allowed.

Since Funimation have licensed One Piece, AnimeSuki will not list torrents for it. In addition, the following posts are not allowed:

I've must of watched the Funimation version OP for a while.
Today was the first time I saw the "Hands Up" OP.
Really nice ^^ and the 15 years anniversary thing - impressive.
So the new arc finally started.
It was about time they got off Punk Hazard arc.
Luffy and his love for meat ^^" ROFL
Interesting episode. Looks like this arc will be more pirate centered.

How bad are you thinking? It might be minor compared to what will actually happen.

When was the last time that the anime reached the same arc as the manga?

That guy will be introduced in this arc.

But really, the opening shows some things that don't happen at all.

Ok, watched the episode three times, that's how much I loved this episode. Matter of fact I feel like re watching it again LOL.

Animation was amazing, next episode looks like it will keep up with that, would be great if the entire arc was this nice but let's face it, odds of that are 0 but I hope the episodes have more good animation than bad, this arcs good.

Next weeks episode looks great, can't believe I'm seeing ths stuff animated already. Seems like only yesterday I read these chapters.

No it did not. In fact it seems like they are only just now starting the main fights arcs.
So ya... prepare for slow pacing... again -.-

after i look back in the anime, i probably know how fujitora win Roulette gambler, He Use His Gravity power ! ==a very useful ability for that gamble :D
