Shinryaku!? Ika Musume (Season 2)
 

Just in prep for the upcoming season. Since it's one of the earlier shows (starting at the end of this month).

I cannot wait. This is one of the show I anticipate. I do have to wonder do they still have more fresh ideas for this season? I hope they ditch Cindy Campbell and her 3 dumb scientists. They were overstaying their welcome in the first season.

I have insanely high expectations for this. The first season was unbelievably good, with brilliant writing and an extremely lovable and awesome lead character.

I have nothing but good things to say, can't wait!!

Ika Musume, along with Lucky Star and Nichijou, holds the title of one of the few animes that got me to really laugh. Perfect blend of comedy and cuteness.

However, the art in the new promotional poster doesn't look too good. Hopefully this won't matter.

Same character designer/animation director (Ishikawa Masakazu) so there's no real reason to suspect a decline on the visual side of things.

The other comedy show besides Boku Tomo and Seizon II that's a must watch....

The OP will be by Sphere (a pleasant surprise to see them here. Though for once, I don't think any of their VAs are in this series. Yet.) The ED will be by Hisako Kanemoto, so we still have an ED sung by a major character from the show.

I still amazed every I see it, how can Japan just keep putting anime at 2 AM. On one hand I wish I was born in Japan ( though I guess being born in Taiwan is just as close) on other hand I'm glad I move to U.S. so I don't have to stay up every night watching anime. (just think about the job and school)!!!!

I love it. So energetic and yet relaxing.

The only series that is definitely in my list-to-watch for this coming season so far.

Still haven't decided on the rest. Hope there's more min-Ika Musume goodness. :D

Loved the first series, including (and especially) the Mini-Ika shorts that came out. More of that needs to come in Series 2 methinks... :3
