Within the human body there is said to be approximately 60 million cells. White blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, macrophages, memory cells, killer T cells, natural killer cells, B cells, mast cells and many more!

All these different cells work tirelessly within the body, never resting for a moment, at any time willing to resist invading foreign entities like germs and viruses to the bitter end!

Osmosis Jones The Anime?

I’ve been following the manga, and as a microbiologist and immunologist, I find this series hilarious! I look forward to seeing white blood cell (aka neutrophil) scream “die, bacteria!” while cytoplasm spills everywhere. XD

I gave the 1st volume of the manga a try but it didn't warrant buying the second volume. Maybe the series will be more compelling as an anime. I'll give it a try.

Watching it purely out of interest as an immunology researcher. Should prove entertaining

It's anime so it'll likely be Neutrophil-chan doing her best. :heh:

As someone who's in a family of pharmacists and future nurses and practioners, this intrigues me.

The trailer looks interesting enough that I might like the anime despite my reservations about the manga.

And it should be interesting to see what this team does with the premise.
