This Japanese blogger gave it a 5 out of 5 for the yuri scale here:

http://blog.livedoor.jp/yuri_amagasa.../52003113.html

Can anyone justify that?

Very highly possible.

The mangaka of the seinen moe~ 4-panel manga Kanamemo is also the mangaka of the seinen yuri manga flower*flower which is serialized in the male oriented yuri manga magazine Comic Yuri Hime S.

I'm not sure of what to say... :heh:

I mean, if this really turns out to have a high dose of yuri content, it would make me very happy... :p

Flower*Flower's mangaka? Gets a thumbs up from me! (Though I'd rate F*F about 6 on the yuri scale, it hasn't gone very far yet.)

holyalexander 2009-03-18 18:49

ahh another high school anime theme.. nice.

Midonin 2009-03-18 18:53

I'm interested in it because it comes from the same brand of magazines as Hidamari Sketch, but there's enough other factors to pull me in too.

Midonin 2009-04-12 11:20

The main cast:

Kana Nakamachi: Aki Toyosaki
Haruka Nishida: Yui Horie
Hinata Azuma: Eri Kitamura
Mika Kujiin: Rie Kugimiya (hat trick! All the main Toradora! girls together again)
Saki Amano: Rie Kugimiya

With a small update to the website (ah, finding out the songs and singers for the new season, one of my favorite times of the year that comes quarterly), the OP and ED are, to some degree, known.

The OP is "Kimi he to Tsunagu Kokoro" by the trio of Aki Toyosaki (her second opening theme for the upcoming season, the first being Sphere's second single for Sora no Manimani), Kaoru Mizuhara and Rie Kugimiya.

The ED, title still unknown, will be Yui Horie's next single.

*Looks* The others are cute, but the one I notice most right now is the pink haired girl near the bottom. In any case, this would be one of the summer series that I'm looking forward to. Mainly due to certain biases.

Midonin 2009-05-27 08:48

The name of Horie's next single for the ED is titled "Yahho!!".

Which is honestly just one letter short of a search engine...

Midonin 2009-06-19 09:12

The official website got an overhaul today, with a little promo in the bottom corner.

Before this series even begins, I can see people comparing Kana and Yui already, so perhaps it's best that's gotten out of the system before the debut. Seeing the show as itself and all that.

Falkor 2009-06-19 09:40

there seems to be an error with the link in kyouray's post. anyway, here's the official website

and here we have another show with a great seiyuu cast, though I can't say they are all my favorites. :heh:

The character designs are to my liking... and the promo is surprisingly cute in an adorable way... :P

That's more or less what it boils down to for me. That preview has me even more motivated to try it out.

E_I 2009-06-20 21:15

They couldn't make that video any smaller, could they?

Cute song, or whatever the hell that was.

BTW, what is she saying over and over again?
