Didn't expect this to get animated so soon, should be great if handled by a good studio, maybe I should catch up on the manga..

Shiroth 2009-07-24 18:07

Wow really? This is brilliant news. We need a studio who's not afraid to animate the very dark side of this series.

PNGO 2009-07-24 18:09

OMFG, I can't belive this!!!! Great Great series! I love you NeoSam.

PNGO 2009-07-24 18:12

BTW i hope they don't take off or censor the really sick parts. Well if they are actually animating a series like this then I guess are willing to animate those parts.

Shiroth 2009-07-24 18:47

If this show will be censored, then there's no point in animating it.

I hope BONES are the ones behind the animation. For obvious reasons.

Poetic Justice 2009-07-24 19:07

Oh ****! This is gonna be awesome im sure :D

White Manju Bun 2009-07-24 20:53

Interesting, though I havent read the manga, I know its a very popular title. Will def keep this on my interested list.

ellifeedn 2009-07-24 21:03

This is interesting. I suppose I'll stick around and watch it. Considering the number of chapters and that the manga was a monthly series, there should be enough material for a 24 episode series. I hope snoopy and his group will work on volume six when it comes out.

Natsuki Hyuga 2009-07-24 21:50

Woah, this one is going to get animated? Gotta say I'm very surprised and quite interested here. I think I'll have to read the manga back now D:

You'd quite like this series. Should give the manga a try and see what you think.

Yeah i'd say there's enough material, though only if they don't try and squeeze a few chapters into one episode. Even though each is about 50 pages long, there's so much going on in each chapter, and they'll need to keep a lot of it in.

Could anyone provide a link that can confirm this news? Where do you get the info from NeoSam? I don't see it in animenewsnetwork nor shonen ace website.

You only provided the introduction, not the source of the news. How do you expect us to believe this?

Like Westlo said, the manga is still too early for it to have a 24 episode TV season. Its too good to be true. I could only foresee a filler ending for this anime.

In the interview of Vol.6 of E7 manga, BONES did express interest and looked forward to animating Kataoka Jinsei and Kondou Kazuma's future works considering they had done the Eureka Seven manga adaption for their studio. Now would be the chance to make do their promise. BONES would be "eating their words" if they are not the ones behind the animation.

This will be a difficult anime adaption. The manga is very gore and bloody, with

Neosam already provided the link. It was from moonphase.

This blurb from moonphase:
[タレコミ]片岡人生×近藤一馬「デッドマン・ワンダーランド」&小田切ほたる「裏切りは僕の名前を知っている」アニメ化決定!

says Deadman Wonderland will get an anime adaption.

Forgive me and no offence, but I certainly don't see the link on the first post of this thread by NeoSam. Yes I did check the website http://www.moonphase.cc but I can't find anything related to Deadman Wonderland nor the author's name. Thanks anyway

I shall spread this news to other forums.

NeoSam 2009-07-25 05:57

I mentioned the source in the New Announced Anime thread.

pirateking 2009-07-25 06:01

Okay I saw the link you provided in the "New Announced Anime" thread. No hard feelings.

You just didn't add in this line "Source: MoonPhase Diary" in your first post of this thread. You get what I mean?

Its all about user-friendly.

NeoSam 2009-07-25 06:59

I usually don't add sources in anime threads, but there's no problem I just added the source to the first post of this thread.

I am VERY pleased with this news xD YAAAAY!!!

That's pretty decent news. Let's hope they do stick with that promise, because there's no one more fitting then BONES to do the job, and they'd probably deliver with the true contents from the source material.

Firstly nice worldplay in the title Deadman Wonderland :heh:

This show looks very promising firstly its horror and backed by good crisp art . The theme kind of seems a little Guro/Suicidal/Dark to me . Concerning covers, the 5th Volume cover is somewhat BL , hopefully there isn't any . Of all the covers Volume 2 cover caught my attention the most . The art on it is somewhat captivating .
