xxxHOLiC Kei (Second Season)
 

As we know, its been confirmed on Moon Phase that we shall see a second season, and that the staff and the cast would not change.

So, anyone wanna guess how happy i am about this?

Also, i'm pretty sure S.E.N.S shall return for the creation of the musical score. Truly one of the main parts that brought the first season to life as an adaptation of the manga.

I was spazzing about this yesterday when I saw the annoc on lj and then I went spazzy on my lj XD Very glad someone else is confirming this, I truly cant wait!

Not only is this second season, its a chance to hear more music from S.E.N.S --- so yes, i'm extremely happy about this!

The first season ended just before some interesting material from the manga would start, so it'll be great to see some of it animated. Still, i don't think anything is going to beat the anime's adaptation of the lady in the park story (yes i'm going to stop myself here before i go into ultra fanboy mode).

Best news in recent anime history. :D Still remains my favourite CLAMP series, and one of my top ten favourite series of all time. Great to hear they've kept the cast, too. It'd be a bit disappointing to have a major char voiced differently (as with some sequels... >.<)

This, and the continuation of Genshiken... the best stuff around in the past few years, and with new seasons, will remain up there for a few more yet, I think. ^^

What was confirmed was a new series, not a second season. Not only MOON PHASE but also Famitsu used the same wording. While there's a high chance that this new series may indeed be a second season because they'll be using the same staff and cast, it still hasn't been confirmed. It could be a remake, it could be a parody, it could be something else.

Well, ANN are saying a second television series --- so don't know about you, but that sounds like a TV series to me.

But that doesn't sound like a second season, since a second season, at least in the Japanese sense of the word, means a continuation of the story. Which is still not confirmed.

But you've got to agree that a continuation of the first season is what seems most likely ^_^

So let us pop the champagne and celebrate, albeit a bit prematurely!

Cause if...Code Geass and xxxHolic are airing simult, poor Fukuyama-san will be worked overtime! *wants this to happen*

Seeing as though it was only announced this week, i was thinking maybe January, or sometime after that --- would be WONDERFUL if it was to air in October, though i can't see it happening.

Hurray! Another tv series of XXXholic with the same cast hehe. True I highly doubt it will be air this fall but the chance of it being released this January is slim. In my opinion it could be released in the spring of 2008. Now I got another series to look forward to watch. Hahahah

Great news definetly adding to my list of new series i must watch. However i never did to watch the final episode of season 1 i might have to hunt it down since that means my collection in incomplete

I have a few doubts about second season of HOLiC... It propably can't follow manga scenario, too much affilities with TRC was cutted from first season. Somehow I can't imagine that in second series studio would mix up all this missing crossovers. So what will we see in second season? Another chain of stories about ladies with bad habits at Yuuko's shop? No way! If so, I'm out, through I love xxxHOLiC manga.
