Since Bandai have licensed The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, AnimeSuki will no longer list torrents for it. In addition, the following posts are no longer allowed:

  • Discussing Suzumiya Haruhi fansub groups (past or present).
  • Asking for help downloading Suzumiya Haruhi.

My question is, since KyoAni has said on the 15th that the ED TV-sized Special has been completed, will that full-dancing version of Hare Hare Yukai be included in the US DVD release? Maybe as a special DVD in the first DVD art box set?

For those who didn't know, the 3-plus-minutes long version of the Hare Hare Yukai Dance will soon be released by KyoAni and will probably be part of the last R2 DVD. You can see the official sketches here.

I'm not sure if this is the place to put this info but, oh well....apparently Bandai has created a MySpace page to celebrate the Haruhi licensing http://asosbrigade.com/ and looking to promote the DVD release through it. Might be worth a look for the rest of the Haruhi fans. If this has been posted elsewhere, then my sincere apologies.

You mean this page? Don't take this the wrong way but that myspace page was probably the first thing everyone clicked on as soon as the page was put up past midnight of 12/22. Unless you're talking about another myspace page of course. I even forced myself to make a myspace account for Kyon's sake.

I agree. Though, I tried to make sense out of it. Here's what I came up with:

I guess they were working too fast to care about spelling. I think it'll be fixed within minutes. No hidden tags yet.

EDIT: hit counter now back to normal.

EDIT2: the link to Haruhi's VA Vote is now hidden extremely well. You really have to move your mouse over it or view the source code to see it. The hyperlink is now the word "by" of the first paragraph. As if any hardcore fan would miss it. The hidden tags are still missing and the "Adaptati" misspelling remains.

What's up with the weird "of" in the logo? The entire word "of" should be in a black spinny thing, or none of it. The の inside the "of" is a visual non sequitur.
