Eiyusenki (Historical Figure Genderbender)
 

Hetalia: Axis Powers was only the beginning! Now, Eiyusenki, a new PC game from Japan seeks to depict over 60 important figures from world history as cute anime-style girls, and more importantly, make them battle for global domination!

Eiyusenki has been developed by the Tenco company withlots of RPG and RTS elements as girls representing assorted old world empires such as Azteca, Egypt, and Zipang (i.e. Japan) clash on the battlefield. The game is slated for release in March 2012 in Japan.

A visit to the official Eiyusenki web site is kind of a must, as you can view character bios for all the girls and be boggled at the design choices that have been made in the name of revisionist history. Below are is a sampling of some of our favorites...

My God there's some many characters.

Heck Hannibal, Nero, Aristotle, Nostradamus, Gilgamesh, Columbus William The Kid and Francis Drake are in this game!

Release date is still far away though. Hope the gameplay is fun enough.

Some of them are very... um... interesting design choices. Heh... Julius Caesar, Gilgamesh, Alexander the Great... oh my.. Ashoka (nsfw), something inherently disturbing about Nero being a magical girl... so yeah, they're all pretty out there. Think Vlad Tepes is my favourite one though, lol. Wait, why is she listed as Australian.

Joan/Jeanne D'arc is this one. The dude is just called Main Character/Shujinkou.

So here they have an entire cast of females, and the main character just so happens to be a male...do Japanese really like harem that much?

It's ero-game O_O. What do you expect from ero-game? It's either 1 girl with 1 male MC or many girl for the MC to choose one or a harem.

Edit : lol, they have the complete set of knight of the rounds, and I can't help but laugh at Sanzo-Boushi being there XD.

It is an eroge. I've been waiting for it for awhile, but apparently the released date is still far away.

It'd been long since the last time I see this artist :p.

So I see when I stumbled across the album. Either way, the gameplay looked like it might be mildly amusing, a sort of global conquest game heh.

Well, there are still some silhouettes at the top. I don't remember seeing them before, though. Maybe they did add them recently.
