Original creator : Yui Hara
Plot summary : Shinobu Ōmiya, a 15-year-old, seemingly "pure Japanese" girl, actually did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas. One day, an air mail letter arrives from Alice, the girl in Shinobu's host family in Great Britain. The letter reads, "Shinobu, I'm coming to Japan!" The story begins with the lives of Shinobu, Alice, and other girls from both Japan and Great Britain.

Note : Hara launched the manga in Manga Time Kirara Max in 2010, and Houbunsha published the second compiled book volume in April.

Another "Cute Girls do Cute Things" anime? This season is loaded with them.

The show will most likely air in April since the anime adaptation has just announced.

Hooray! I've seen this one brought up during Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb so many times (during the commercials), that I had become interested in it through sheer repetition. Plus, it's from the Kirara brand, which has produced a lot of my favorite shows.

I have no problems.

maximilianjenus 2012-12-18 10:27

I blame madoka because it increased the populairty of hidamari sketch, which in turn also increased the popularity of houbunsha 's comics. iirc, was not another houbunsha/hidamari sketch ads anime confirmed recently ?

Hidamari was popular long before Madoka was around. It never made much of a wave in the Western fanbase, but I think you have the course of events reversed here. And yes, Yuyushiki (also mentioned during the commercials) should be debuting soon. I'm looking forward to that one as well.

The official website for the anime is up http://kinmosa.com/

And I read some of the manga last night, the humor and character interactions has a a similar feel to that of the K-on manga.

Thanks, it was yuyushiki, well at least we will get a more slice of life animes in te next year. About madoka and hidamari i know that hidamari predates madoka, I even watched it before it, but popularity wise amdoka is far more popular than hidamari, even if just going by bd sales.

I don't see what that has to do with more Kirara works being animated. If anything, it'd make more sense to attribute it to K-ON!

Shimapan 2012-12-18 22:49

The english girl's last name sounds like "cutlet"... creative use of the English language again XD
Or perhaps whoever came up with the name was really hungry.

Definitely looking forward to this. I just hope it isn't another one of those 5 minute anime.

teja208 2013-02-06 07:13

Hope for a 25 min as well. Kirara 4-komas should worth more than 5 minutes.

Wait, I haven't came in here and expressed my excitement for this show already? This won't do.
