Oh my...

No one seems to know what FTA means... There's no info on the FujimiShobo page as of yet, and a search in Japanese has just shown me that the Japanese fans are as confused as we are about it. Nothing on anyone's twitter accounts, either. I'm gonna keep checking every few days or so for more info...

My hopes for the anime rise again.

That is a FANTASTIC NEWS! Whether or not it will materialize to anything reamins to be seen. It's still gives all the FMP-fans a lot of hope for a potential new anime season.

It won't be that early to be revealed though, and if it isn't revealed by now then it means it isn't a rushing project, so we can wait.

But let's not forget Gatoh's word about a "surprising secret project in 2013", though I don't really think we will have a new anime this early......(Jeez, look at all those new animes and you know what I mean)

Sometimes they release info soon after an announcement, sometimes they wait awhile... I'll only check for a little bit and if no info pops up soon, then I'll assume it's going to be awhile.

I'm wondering too, after looking at again, there's nothing saying that this project is definitely FMP!Another, is there? It could be related to the original FMP series, too, couldn't it? Hmmm....

I'm definitely keeping Gatoh's mystery 2013 project in mind. And speaking of that project, if I remember right, he indicated that it would be 2013 at the earliest, it might even be 2014, so that one still could be anime....

Fumoffu Third Another?

If it turned out to be another Fumoffu I would go completely bonkers with joy. I want my Chidori back!!!!

Well, maybe it's a non-KyAnimation anime series, as the main series have a contract with KyAnimation. Even so, I don't think that this is the secret project that GATOH told us, I really think that next year we will see a new FMP season followed by a new Haruhi series, as we saw in 2006.
They really have material for a Fumoffu new series, maybe we will see it before the main series...

when will we know for sure if this is a new anime also if so when will it be released

Well we just have to wait i guess...but, in my personal opinion, it would be really a stupid joke to have an anime for the spinoff when we have so many novels untouched of FMP ><"

Maybe they're doing a anime for both. Just wishful thinking.

I can't handle the amount of times I get my hopes up whenever there is a tiny scrap of news! :heh: When we finally hear of another series I'm going to pop open a bottle of champagne :p

hmmm..... there is still no confirmation so I won't take it for real yet. Plus their really make it ambiguous naming it as FTA. What's the deal. If they want an anime then announce it already!!

This little bit of vague news still gives me hope as a fellow FMP! holdout. I'm not surrendering to the lack of definite news regarding any future anime. No, sir.
