Johan's real name (crazy theory?)
There are 4 names that appear at least in 2 storybooks from Franz Bonaparta/Klaus Poppe: "The nameless monster" and "The God of Peace". The names are:
Otto Hans Tomas and Johan So why to use the same names? why this insistence? What if there is something occult in those names? Like for example, another name? If we take the initials of those name we have: O H T J and if we put them correctly we obtain: J O T H what if Bonaparta invented his names for the stories from this Joth? Bonaparta knew Johan's real name, and I think he felt somewhat culpable for take away his name, so he put it on the story as a redemption. Johan's real name could be Joth. :eyespin: haha By the way, is Joth a german/czech name? Of course this can seems somewhat crazy, illogical and has not sense at all. :heh: regards |
I remember looking up names from the anime and Johan also means john who wrote the last book in the bible. Maybe it was John?

Leo_Otaku: yeah, "The Revelation of Saint John the Divine" was named in the first episode. Although I think it's because of Johan/John/Juan are the same.
I found this website: http://www.ancestry.com/learn/facts/...lid=0040803744 it says Joth can be from german descendent. In "Another Monster" novel they say something about "a mystery newly found in the picture books". And searching on google I found something about "Joth" is "a secret name of God". This can't be casual! I don't think Joth is Johan's real name but I'm sure that name means something. I'm sure Urasawa put that on the storybook for some reason. regards |
Considering Detective work as a job RungeLunge? I have to admit, you're not bad indeed :D

Another Monster? Can someone please explain what this book? I mean is it like an book to help understand Monster or something? Thanks

didn't Anna's real name end up being Anna? I wouldn't be surprised if Johan's name WAS Johan.
|
When did they say that it was her real name?
I don't think their mother was allowed to name them. She had thought of names for them but wasn't able to name them. So it remained in her head. Tenma gets their names at the end, but they were never revealed. |
hmm maybe I was wrong about that.
|
I believe their names were purposely not said in the series itself. They will most likely be told in Another Monster.
