Most likable anime ditz/klutz/weirdo
 

Usually, my favorite anime characters are the ones who are ditzy, clumsy, or just... weird (but in a good way).

My vote for most likable:

It's a toss up between Mitsumi Otohime from Love Hina or Marie, the Onegai Twins version.

My favorite Mitsumi moment would have to be when Kaolla tried to cook Naru's favorite stuffed animal then Mitsumi told a story about how in the show, one of those hamster-thingies really did cook the others. I forget which episode it was.

As for Marie, my favorite moment would have to be when he bites on the Prech, pauses, looks up, and goes, "....hhhhaaaaa...." Or, in the episode where Maiku's sexuality is being questioned, Marie was looking at all the undergarments on the clothesline and suddenly catches a nosebleed.

This isn't really a contest, so list as many characters as you'd like and favorite moments, if any. ^_^

None better than Osaka from Azumanga Daioh, for me.

Hmm, I think that Honda Tohru from Fruits Basket is pretty cute and sometimes, a little ditzy. :D

For me too, the second episode with the dust in her eye was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I agree with the poll too, but only "mostly." I was bothered by the way Amazing Nurse Nanako was portrayed as being completely helpless :(.

i think tohru from fruits basket is kool and she is kinda clumsy sumtimes ^__^ and the green fairy from bottle fairy although she is not really clumsy etc but she is just weird ^___^

from Mahou Tsukai Tai is sooo cute. Sexy too. That helps. :D

Ditto the title character of Sailor Moon and the glasses-wearing maid with big knockers on Ai Yori Aoshi. Hmmmm. There seems to be a pattern... I don't recall any uncute/unsexy klutzes.

I'd have to say Osaka is far more random than Mutsumi, thus funnier. Who else would try to wake someone up by banging on a frying pan, but end up with a kitchen knife in her hand with no idea how it got there?

I have watched that scene many times over and it still make me laugh.

Azumanga Daioh. It's licensed though. ADV has both the anime, which will be out next year, and the manga volume 1 of which is already out.

Kisaragi Nnamori from Happy Lesson and Happy Lesson Advanced.

In one of the last episodes Kanna has brought a bunch of inventions to sell in Hazuki's shop. One is a bug shaped device. One of the girls asks what it is and Kisaragi says it is a cockroach caller. It will summon every cockroach in a 10 kilometer radius. As the two main characters are talking you see in the background that Kisaragi wants to turn it on to see if it works and Satsuki and Uzuki are fighting to hold Kisaragi back. And then there are the Science class experiments where the class is terrified when Kisaragi mixes chemicals as they usually go BANG.

Next up would be Otohime Mutsumi. Moe-chan from DaCapo reminds me alot of Otohime.

Probably Mutsumi, she was pretty much the only character I liked in LH.

Naruto, of course.
