Oh l guess he finally confessed to Alicia...faldio sure was a busy fellah this episode. l'm pretty sure l'm going to have tears of joy "if" the writters keep his game ending intact

Fairly entertaining episode.

To be honest, you almost have to feel sorry for Welkin. Gets nothing.
I was laughing by the point Faldio confessed to Alicia... and Welkin was walking somewhere and looks at the sky. For most of the episode, he was just rather cold towards Alicia, probably over his love life worries (thanks to Faldio).

To top it off, it was entertaining to see Faldio try and get a few flags with Isara. Homo-brat is also flir-... I mean, talking to her throughout the episode. Don't lose, Homo-brat! (Being serious, the Faldio x Isara flag thing is a joke).
Welkin=Agrees with Isara and allows her to stay away from the party.
Faldio=Goes and drags her to the party. Result is nice.
Kind of hard figuring out who is the protagonist, huh? :heh: Faldio really did do a lot this episode, while Welkin was the opposite.

The racist's past was explained this episode, and it made good sense as to why she felt that way, but the entire thing felt rather short. A bit less than 2 minutes?

Anyways, it was fun. Welkin's role recently has been pitiful though...

Preview: Naked men in bath, Homo-brat still trying to enter Isara's route, etc.

• Seems that last episode's massacre has had a serious effect on Squad Seven. Doesn't look like Faldio was given a bad rap from Varrot, though.
• The Sevens are to have a "party" to try and raise morale, but Rosie doesn't want to be a part of it. The Darcsen massacre at Fouzen didn't really shake her beliefs that much, it seems. Her outburst and attack on the Equus were just a memory trigger.
• I lol'd when Ramal got soaked by Isara. I also lol'd when he kept tripping over his own tongue while talking to her. Still, it seemed to give her the confidence she needed to confront Rosie about her Darcsen prejudice.
• Significant development for Rosie, she tells Isara why she hates Darcsens. It's a pretty big change from the game version.
  Spoiler for Her reason:

  During EWI, Rosie's parents helped to try and hide a group of Darcsen soldiers from Imperials. An Imperial soldier got into struggle with Rosie's father, prompting the Darcsens to open fire. But Rosie's parents got caught in the crossfire, and died as she watched.
  Wow, that's rough.
• Isara elects to stay away from the party so Rosie can concentrate on singing. That is so selfless of her, but Alicia thinks that's stupid of her (or of Welkin to let her). Faldio ends up dragging Isara back to watch Rosie sing.
• Edy only gets one line, but she owns Alicia with it. Someone please translate what was being said!
• So Faldio finally comes out and says it to Alicia: he likes her. And she just stands there, blushing...

• More filler and character development.
• Looks like it's Largo's turn to shine. We get to explore his relationship with Captain Varrot. We even get to see a younger version of Largo and Elle (Varrot).
• Looks like Alicia isn't taking Faldio's confession very well...
• I dunno what Marina just did, but I know it'll be something AWESOME! Speaking of which, Marina was voicing this preview with Hans and Aisha. Looks like they both take a liking to the piglet.
• Men in a sauna... typical anime cliche. Whatever, it'll be for good comedy and/or development.

A young Largo pays attention to eleanor varrot?

I was alittle disappointed when they panned from left to right for the crowd shot with soldiers listening to Rosie singing near the end.

That was the the perfect moment to show so many other characters from the game who aren't shown yet. They could of shown people like Nadine <3, Cathrine or awhole bunch of other people, there are 50 characters in the game. But instead they showed abunch of randoms.

I think the producers of this anime want to achieve a deeper impact on the viewer by focusing mainly on the development of the Alicia and Faldio relationship as the plot "unravels" further into probably a more serious take on this anime.

rosie was trapped because she had already accepted to sing, and Faldio did what Welkin wouldn't do which was force rosie by ordering her. you know that women want those thing that seem to be boyond their reach. Alicia could take the easy way and accept Faldio's feelings but she is too much in love with Welkin.
