Kanon (2006) Favourite Characters Poll
 

As requested, the Kanon Favourite Characters Poll! This poll is a multiple choice poll and while we won’t restrict you from voting for every character, please try to limit your choice to your top 3 or 4 picks if you can. If you like the entire cast equally, then so be it, but if you can narrow it down a bit, then that’s even better. If you like one character the most, then don’t feel the need to vote for anymore.

Please remember that once you make your vote you may not "come back" later to add or change your previous vote(s). So make sure you know all the characters you want to include in your vote before you click the "Vote Now" button.

And of course the vote is public, so your votes will be visible to all. :)

Mai, Shiori and Ayu for me <-- Still missing a Mai trace >_< !!

There's just something misterious about those three that I find quite appealing. :)

Nayuki and Shiori for me <3 ...although both of them are suffering from a lack of screen time.

^ I still think its a joke to include the Jam -_- :p I'd like to see who votes for that tho, and why. :D

My top three are Ayu, Makoto and Mai, in order. Yuuichi gets honourable mention for providing so much entertainment up till now (episode 7).

For the latter, it's 2k6 Yuuichi I'm voting for, not the lame excuse for a leading man that 2k2 Yuuichi was.

Ayu was a sure Vote vor me. She is just cute, faunny and uguu~
Mai too. I have a thing for silent girls, so she is a good Vote too :D

Ayu and Yuuichi, (for main characters)

Kaori and Piro, (for supporting characters)

Unfortunately, this story is full of complementary and interlocking characters so its difficult for me to narrow down:
Yuuichi, Ayu, Nayuki -- they're the core, if I don't like them, I'm not sure how its possible to like the story.
Akiko -- always seems to be forgotten in the polls but she has some of the BEST lines in the story and the mystery of why she always seems to know but never speaks up... and that jam hobby of hers...
Mai -- because she's Mai, dammit (guilty happiness when she's onscreen).

Yuuichi - A great male lead. Funny yet responsible, he's our perfect guide through Kanon happenings.

Ayu - Well, Ayu is Ayu. She already was my favourite Kanon character. Cute and sweet. And ~uguuu~ is love :)

Shiori - I like her kind aura, and that politeness. She's also beautiful and looks very classy.

Mai - For my weak spot on mysterious, silent girls. It's just one of my favourite stereotypes.

Heh heh. Early, eh? Not a bad thing at all, but I'll give it a shot. :)

Yeah, way too early for me. As of now, Makoto pretty much outshines... well, everybody, but she's the only one we've really gotten any significant amount of data on at this point. I think I'll have to abstain until it gets a bit further along.

Just a note to those who may think it's a bit early for a poll.

When the series approaches the end of it's 24 episode run, we can have another poll to see how the favourites changed over time. But if you feel it is too early to vote now, then by all means wait until you feel you have a better idea as to who you might be your favourite characters. I'll more likely wait until the series is about half way through before I make a vote :)

I guess I'll do just that. I'll vote after the series end.

Akiko= She's pretty and considerate and somewhat mysterious.

Mai= Well....I kind of like her long hair and silent-type character.

yuuichi ~ amazing male lead, caring yet hard at teh same time, sarcastic but also knows how to confrot...and also a playa! what a guy :)

shiori ~ wondering around in the snow with a cold...crazy but i just love her! :love:

akiko ~ maker of the jam but also the mother of everyone...kind and never anger ^_^

and lastly makoto ~ she may be annoying to yuuichi but its true love...

After watching the first Kanon series almost five years ago, my favorite character was Nayuki.

But as the years have passed, my favorites have slowly mutated to Sayuri and Mai (especially after learning of Sayuri's gaming story). The two of them were my favorites before the second series started airing. Then I grew to like Shiori more after seeing her scenes in Kanon (2006).

So at this point (after seeing nine Kanon (2006) episodes) my favorites are:

1. Sayuri
2. Mai
3. Shiori

After that:

4. Kaori
5. Nayuki
6. Akiko
7. Makoto
8. Ayu

I hope there won't be fanboys wars here. :p In order:

-1. Akiko's jam: It's funny and can kill people.
1. Ayu: "Uguu~" is enough, right? XD She's really cute and fun to stay around with. Quite cheerful and values friendship (promises).
2. Yuuichi: Damn, I forgot to choose him! >_< He looks good, funny, witty, sarcastice but not mean because he's a really caring guy.
3. Shiori: As someone mentioned earlier she's a classy and a polite girl. I think she's the most beautiful girl among them all.

Even if she didn't really get the spotlight so far and that i'm a first time viewer, i found in love right away with Shiori, she's so cute and "normal" in a way that other girls aren't, Shiori FTW!
