Nice "make up" scene. Ahh, sweet character development...

As for the grand scheme, as far as I could make out, it was basically gold smuggling - Lawrence went back to the guys who own his debt - they are in deep trouble themselves, and would be open to extreme solutions, rather than just shake Lawrence down for his last few pennies. I think the plan was for Nora to smuggle the gold in the stomach of her sheep. We get to see Lawrence being quite manipulative - or at least, make a good sales pitch. Of course, it'd helped that Nora's situation was getting rather bleak (and Lawrence had pretty much guessed what was going on).

And when Horo asks him why he's so nice/generous/good to others, he goes "Personality?" and she wanted him to say because he's fallen for her. :heh:
And she asked again.

Well, they make up. What else to expect?

And evil mastermind Horo comes up with a plan.
Heh... Lawrence and Horo manage to convince Lemerio to cooperate.

Meanwhile, the Church has told Nora to go on another path, where mercenaries seem to have been roaming around recently...

The ever-so-smart Lawrence and Horo (rather, just Lawrence) manages to get Nora's cooperation as well.
Smuggling of gold...
Haha, this is good! Smuggling gold by hiding it inside the sheeps' stomach! And because the Church knows she's capable of traveling dangerous, people-less roads, she can travel without suspicion.
Lawrence plans to pay her quite a lot (she almost dropped her mug... :heh: ) and Lemerio is forced to follow the plan too. Nora doesn't exactly like the Church either, and the Church isn't planning anything good for her and will keep on sending her into dangerous places until she gets attacked by something.

For a moment, Horo's comment on Nora made me wonder if Nora had a hidden agenda, but what Horo said meant something different, thankfully...

the make up scene was so cute! I love the "hug me you fool" look horo gave him. Horo doesn't blush but wags her tail! Nora is also falling for Lawrence, she basically told him that he is special to her by telling him that she would not do this for anybody else but him.

Is that what prompted the shocked look on Lawrence's face at the end of their discussion? If not, could someone tell me why he looked that way?

You mean that look where Lawrence just gapes and stares?

Though she didn't say he was special. She just says that she would not have accepted if it was anyone else, but because it was "Lawrence-san", she decided/accepted.
Same thing though, I guess.

Just something about whenever Horo calls Lawrence a fool is pretty entertaining :).

But really a nice way of settling things. Lawrence going to give Horo the money he had I'd assume so she could make her way North solo. Since if he's not going to have enough money to give might as well hand it to Horo who could do something with it.

Of course Horo assumes blame for what happened and wants him to put some on her rather than keeping it all himself. Horo should avoid swinging chairs as weapons :D. Gotta love the look of "hey get a clue and hug me."

The brilliance of Horo shines through with this plot. Given enough time to think she can figure out a way out of most things. The gold comment from a few episodes comes back big time here. It's definitely risky, but better that then the mines. Not like the company can easily refuse since taking Lawrence won't solve their problems.

It's a plan that if it succeeds will win out for everyone. Noora will get the money she really needs and so can get out from the church that is really just waiting for bad things to happen to her. Lawrence doesn't get sent to the mines or something and die. Horo gets with Lawrence back on his feet a way to get more apples :).

However lawrence and horo managed to argue on equal terms O.o I guess the deal was "if you didn't follow with my plan, then take this sack of pennies as it is all I have" :rolleyes:

The kiss and make up scene was cute...as expected from horo ^^ I am just hypnotized by her tail :twitch:

The church hates nora...yea I do echo serenade's go drown comment. Divine judgement :rolleyes:

The deal with nora was just as expected...but she seems ro be more and more interested in lawrence...I expect horo to be using her as a chew toy if she gets any closer O.o

I'm with you Deathkillz, there is just something about that tail. No wonder she takes such good care of it :).

Well Horo will have to deal with Nora's interest with Lawrence. At least until they get out of this situation :heh:. But at least through the whole thing Horo still found some time to enjoy a drink. Guess even tough times like these can't damper on that.
