Interestingly enough, having been on /k/ recently, I can attest that they're almost as hating on .45 acp now as they were on Deagles.

And yeah, the scene with all those guys does resemble Ranma a lot. It looks like Akane is on the other side of the camera waiting to kick some asses.

They long passed up the chance to animate that scene during the first airing. That particular scene falls immediately after Melancholy VI ends. They didn't really leave any room to put it in, and it's obviously WAY too short to be worth a new episode in this broadcast of the show.

They might mention it in passing. This is particularly likely to happen during the Sigh arc.

well... I know that noone cares about the EE debacle anymore, but I'll still say it.
I feel kind of excited that the season is STARTING now, while in reality I know its ending. So yeah, meh.

They might do it as a flashback in the beginning of Sighs II.

Yeah, I can see it being done when Haruhi reveals the details of the character roles.
