An excellent episode, I must say.

Saber Alter proves to us once again that she is completely boss. What could make this episode better? The fact that we get even more Saber Alter next week.

Saber Alter with dark aura reminds me of Fate/Zero's Berserker
when the pace is slow at first half
we got great battle animation at the second half, just like the last week

A good episode but the best is yet to come...next week will be....interesting.

Excuse my language but shit has hit the fan!

I haven't seen a magical girl series this exciting since Nanoha or Madoka. I also like how they treat magic as if were some form of science. That you need years of training just to learn how to hover above the ground let alone fly. :heh:

I wish I had found this series sooner I feel like I've been missing out.

Actually, the entire episode had a very fate/zero feel to it, with it being at night and all the great action, it was really reminiscent of the first encounter between the servants at the docks.

Dat endcard. Dat episode. Win in its purest.

Yeah, this show does not feel as snappy as the previous ones

Honestly Saber kicking asses is no big deal. It's her only good point afterall (regardless of version).

But Rin still kicked her ass anyway. Your admiration is missplaced ladies and gentlamen.

The pacing was very slow, maybe in order to fit the big event next ep, but what sadden me is it make Saber alter like a fool while she should have been a baddass : instead of rushing against the opponent, she "dances" :confused:

What's this "turn head left" - "turn head right" - "advance" - "move back" - "advance" - "stay idle" momentum?

For chris' sake even if you are a minimal representation of saber alter, you have a B magic resistance with Invisible Air, just get on it already :frustrated:

And wands provide A rank...

Who was the 5th Saber in the omake thing at the end? Alter -> Normal -> Lily -> Lion -> ??

It is difficult for me to express in words how awesome this adaptation has been.

That's Mysterious Heroine X from from Type Moon April Fool's of this year.

What? That's Heroine X, not Saber. They're definitely not the same person. They don't even look similar. Look, Saber doesn't even have a hat nor a scarf.
