OKay, we know who taught Kakashi from reading the manga... but do we know who taught Gai?

Interesting point though...obviously SOMEBODY had to teach Gai about the Gates and Lotus. Wonder what happened to Gai-sensei's sensei? Maybe he died when Kyubi attacked? (Poor Gai...that would make him the last great teacher of Gouken-ryuu taijutsu!)

And another question...who do you think was on Gai's genin team?

If I was forced to guess.... I would have to say Chouji's Dad and Sakura's mom.

Dont know, i think gai should be the same age as all the genin's parents. cant really think of anyone who falls in to right age group who could have taught gai beside the dead 4th. they're either to old, e.g. pervert senin, or too young/same age, e.g. most of the genin's parents.

but i guess ibki, the guy with the screws in his head is probally the only guy i cant think of who isnt too old or young, or the same age.

Gai is the man... he was born that way.

Gai is the same age or an year older than Kakashi. His sensei was someone from the same generation of the 4th. But it's not really important, is it? :p

if gai is the man then he passed his "the manness" down to lee

lee needs a haircut. i wonder if there is anything under all of that hair?

... but lee... i think the bodysuit is a special training bodysuit, so to really go out he would have to go naked (gai thinks the suit is special when he gives one to naruto).. if not naked, then in normal clothes.

Exercising dead-revival-no-jutsu to point out that may be the mysterious turtle who stopped Lee from using the lotus on Sasuke before the prelim could be the Gai's Sensei.. And, uh, please go easy on me for I had nothing to do for the past 20 minutes.. It will also help me get some speculation about that mysterious turtle...

There were actually quiet some speculation by Hunter, Kabuto, Dranz about the topic in the old forum..I just started watching the show..So I didnt get what were they talking about and so I didnt pay attention..Now I want to know!!!
