Seriously there was no Gintama manga thread? I searched for it and I couldn't find any so I just decide to make one. If there is one I apologize to the mod.

Anyhow opinions on the newest arc? So far has been amazing and very fun to read. The past story in Otose has been very interesting and seeing the old characters come back has been great as well, it kinda seemed as if some of the side stories were built up for this arc.

Yeah, it sucks that the fans don't show their support here; although I'm more of the lurker type and can't bother with things, I thought a popular series like this would be somewhere next to the big four of JUMP. I'm still dying for the 306 release since the translation is done, I'm also waiting for Toriko as well. Although it had to be done, the free RAWs that were still around made things a lot easier for those who don't know Japanese. I really love this series and so glad I enjoyed it.

Sigh. Good start to a new thread :eyebrow: people are going to be banned if this keeps up.

Well in all honesty the first question I asked was why, not where can I find it or when. I asked the question because isn't it golden week in Japan right now? So I was wondering if that was one of the possibility why there hasn't been any release. Second of no one really wrote anything about where to find the manga's scanlation or translation, so I don't think any of the posts are really ban worthy.
I thought some of the comedy were really funny actually, especially the epic okama vs host battle :D.

I was really surprised that there was no Gintama manga thread. I thought this series would be popular enough to have one.

about katsura showing up i think it would make sense since he probably lives close in kabukicho and he's fighting against the amanto as always for freedom... or he's being chased by shinsengumi in a daily basis.

I really wanted to wait for the anime to be continued, but my Gintama withdrawal syndrome was too strong. I finally gave in and caught up with the latest chapter.

Oh my god, this arc is simply amazing. The chapter where Gintoki finds Otose's body was incredible. I don't think we've ever seen Gin-san that pissed and desperate before, I can't wait to see this animated. It's nice to finally see a bit of Otose's past, and seeing all the old characters lend a hand to the Yorozuya was awesome. I'm sure Katsura is going to show up at some point, especially since it's been a long time since he last appeared. I mean, damn, even Madao is part of the battle. Another thing I loved was seeing Shinpachi kick some ass, I was suprised to see how easily he beat Pirako. Hell, actually I love everything about this arc.

As for the previous chapters, Yamazaki living on Anpan, and the one about the new year cards were hilarious. I laughed so hard at Katsura being on stand-by in his santa costume, I wondered why he didn't show up in that arc :heh::heh:

I used to follow it before, but as the manga and the anime ran in tandem . I put in on hold around 250 something and never picked it up .

Disappointed that Zura didn't show up which is pretty odd since he is a part of the town as well... hopefully he makes an appearance..

maybe they will make a joke out of it like they did in chapter 294

where they made reference that zura was waiting outside as standby to be santa :p

How long has it been since he last showed up for real? At least this time, he can't complain about Kyuubei stealing his spot since she wasn't here either. Speaking of that, am I the only one thinking his jealousy is going to escalate and we'll get an arc about it? :heh: (a comedy one, of course)

Looks like i caught up at the right time, because wow just wow that arc. Trust Gintama to keep on delivering such a powerful story about new characters, and make me care for them so damn much. Brilliant.

Just took a little peep at chapter 310, and oh boy oh boy.

I knew you'd love that arc. And I couldn't resist taking a peek at chapter 310 either, I was too curious as to what the next arc had in store for us, and oh boy indeed...

And about time 310 came out, I was getting really impatient. Thank god for the world cup to take my mind off from it.
But overall very interesting development, and two main antagonist meeting each other something big might happen soon with Gintama. A manga story like Gintama doesn't really have a sign when it is going to end, the final arc could start soon or it could start maybe in next 5 years. So we really can't predict the story.

You can buy the volumes that Viz have released.

No, I just want to know where can I read the complete chapters online.

And I buy manga volumes when they are available in our country, I don't order online. Thank you for answering though.
