The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to discuss all things Okabe Rintarou related.

Probably the first reason why I want to continue watching this series ;( His mad scientist antics attracted me so :heh: Also, his habit of wearing lab coats all the time is also affecting me to always wears it in my house :uhoh:

Love this character's voice actor. He truly perfects the whole character's spirit and does the mad scientist voices so well :D

Pretty much any time he picks up his cell and says, "It's me", I start laughing because I know he's going to say something ridiculously awesome.

How old is Okabe anyway? I thought he was in his early twenties, but then Suzuha mentions that it's not legal for him to drink. So is he 18-19?

If I remember right, the web site says he's 18.

According to Wiki, he's definitely 18. Not bad. I thought he was at least in his early twenties when I first saw him. :heh:

Me too. The fact that he has tiny bits of facial hair indicates that he's older than average 15-17 y.o. protagonists. Though many anime male characters around this age are portrayed with out facial hair.

I kinda want to know what cel phone he's using, anybody got something on that? :D

GAR character of the decade, hands down he is my HERO. EL PSY CONGROO!

One of the best male leads in a very long time.

Definitely one of my favourite characters of all time, his development was simply amazing...

Definitely one of best lead male anime characters through out the series he's very funny, enjoyable, you can relate to him when he's gone emo, kept trying his best all the time, a fun character, a genius with 170 IQ and most off all....

But really seriously this guy has a big heart.

He wears his lab coat wherever he goes.

Considering it's not exactly the most mobile thing to run around here, it is clearly badass.

I'm currently trying to find an Okabe like labcoat to buy in the UK. Wearing a labcoat all the time, clearly makes you a total badass. :D

I know at the university here sells lab coats at the beginning of the year maybe try and see if any universities near you sell them in the store maybe?

I've not got any Uni's close to me, but thanks for the idea. ^^

The game's on it's way to me as I write this, I can't wait to see if Okabe has more great lines in the game, his lines in the anime were awesome.

I've also been wondering about what model cell phone Okabe is carrying around. Anybody have an idea?

Nokia perhaps? It's rather generic.
