I wonder if Louise will get a second name on this episode.

garra113 2006-09-23 22:47

I am postive in this episode that she will show some void magic :D

SinsI 2006-09-24 14:35

Well, the episode was very predictable. They kept it away from becoming serious and dramatic, and left no possibilities for second season.

Episode 13 Screen Captures

I guess the show didn't have time to have a deep dilemma-mode Saito. I'd have liked to see him mulling over whether to go home or not for a long, intense moment.
Well, at least the series ended on a lighthearted and 'awwww~' note. ^__^ Zero no Tsukaima has been one of the cuter anime shows that I've seen.

The greater question is, who was hotter in this episode? Farmgirl!Siesta or Warrior!Henrietta? XDD

Well, everything went as predicted, which is a good and bad thing.

Why do i get the feeling that the ending was a little bit rushed?

Maids! Maids! Maids! 2006-09-24 21:27

Spoiler for Henrietta dressed for battle:

Final Episode Screencaps and Summary

cyw1988 2006-09-25 02:59

Pretty much what I expected... Felt the ending was a little rushed(duh! its only a 13 eper), but it did managed to sew up the loose holes. Overall, I got what i wanted and i am pretty satisfied. :D

I havent watched the last episode yet myself, but I read moonphase's review of the last ep and anime series as a whole, and I have to agree with it. I'll probably watch it just to enjoy the animation, and see the characters in motion one last time :)

It was very well done within the contraints of time they had, but it could have been sooo much better. So much wasted potential.

Also, he has already read volume 9 and will have a review of that up soon. (うらやましい I havent even ordered mine yet)

( thanks to sushi-y for telling me about that blog )

Rin-Sama 2006-09-25 10:33

Well for me this episode was both a dissapointment and a relief.
Spoiler:

oh and to answer your question Li Jianliang without a dought farmgirl Siesta is the hottest. :D

all together i give this series a 7.5/10. if it had been a longer series, say 24 episodes or so, then there could have been some better character development and a few more adventures. If they decide to continue the story with a 2nd season then my score of it could change. Only time will tell if a 2nd season will be made.

Cyz 2006-09-25 11:36

I guess the outcome of what Saito was about to do was pretty predictable no? Then again, the Henrietta battle outfit....what a good way to raise troops morale :heh:

LostBlue 2006-09-26 02:54

hehe

Setting aside the novels, I'm very satisfied with this ending for the anime.
I couldn't help smiling with Louise's last words :)

As for a second season. Not by a long shot.

For the greater question at hand: Farmgirl. :p

Deathkillz 2006-09-29 19:06

yep the ending turned out just the way i expected (nearly)
i think that if the second half of the ep was animated to fit 2 eps it would have been better...cause yea it was too rushed...damit why didnt they strech it out to 14eps? >.< but it wasnt a total failure just a little glitch...
the ending did the series justice :) and i dnt think a 2nd season would be possible...they wraped it up pretty nicely :)

dxanato 2006-09-29 19:52

I agree with many that it felt rush but I still enjoy it and one can always hope they make a second season or even OVA.

Eskay 2006-09-29 20:53

Considering the time they had to work with, im pretty satisfied with the ending. I've seen other short anime's that have had far worse endings due to time constraints. This one managed to tie things up pretty well in the end. Here's hoping for a second (and longer) season. /pray

KeyBlade Master 2006-09-29 22:23

Damn it Zero no Tsukaima ended but the ending was pretty nice they even kiss for the third time!Hope there's a second season even if they didn't show any clue there's a second season.
