As expected. At the risk of sounding like a broken record to certain people, this looks like it'd perfectly work as the next big Nichigo project but I wouldn't be too thrilled if it were to happen. For one, other rumored TV series seem like they'd work ever better there (hello Magi), and I'm not a huge fan of the manga either. Entertaining, but I reckon the pacing can be outright terrible at times. With that said, an anime adaptation would at least trim some completely useless pages, and BONES animation would definitely help it surpass the manga, if they get serious about it. (Though if it does get the Nichigo treatment, it's obviously not like they'd brush it off as a side-project...)

I don't really know that much about the manga. I checked out the first chapter the other day, and yeah it doesn't seem amazing or anything. But one thing I noticed is that it has a lot of explosion and water based scenes. BONES' effects animators will probably have a field day with this, so at least it'll be pretty to look at.

Aniplex looking to make another Ao no Exorcist or even better FMA? Manga doesn't seem that interesting.. but considering this is Bones and that means a high chance of Yutaka Nakamura doing some action scenes... I'm in.... Probably won't check out the manga so the show is fresh for me...

Guys, I'm curious about the genre this will fall to. (I didn't read the manga)

Yes! I love Zetsuen. It's influenced by (and quotes a lot from) Shakespeare's Hamlet and The Tempest.

Though, Tempest does not have ridiculous abrupt turns like Spiral or Vampire Cross World. Its world concept is established clearly very early and the plot flow very smoothly. |

I won't say action is a fitting word. Over 50% of volume 3 and 4 was spent on talking. Volume 5 is mostly love comedy and have little action.

I don't know what the problem is. It may come down to personal taste on whether people like the manga or not, but there are definitely worse things to adapt. I'm excited for it.

While I wouldn't say that all males on front page automatically means "gay", the way they're dressed, their poses, and the style they're drawn in, did make me think "Yaoi" when i saw the front page on the website. If the website showed the characters doing something, rather then fashionably posing, it would seem less "gay".
