SABER ALTER!!!!! We finally get to see her in her full animated glory, I'm hyped for next weeks episode.

Hot damn, Saber Alter! If I recall, her entrance scene there from the manga was a bit... bloodier.

After just finishing a rough fight vs Caster, our two heroines now are staring down Saber Alter....how's that for a cliffhanger? Exciting enough for you?

Bit bloodier but the way she appeared in the anime was way more better 8D

I have to say, they are absolutely nailing this adaptation. It's amazing what they are doing here, I don't normally associate Silver Link with anime that is actually animated, but they're really changing my opinion of them with this show. I can't think of any way this could be better adapted except you know if they had the budget ufotable had for Fate/zero.

The seeds of friendship have been planted between Illya and Miyu as they've begun the first stages of bonding with each other.

The battle next episode should indeed be exciting. Saber Alter should be a hellish fight indeed for our two still relatively low level magical girls.

It's even more important then a spell checker!

Episode 4 is fun to watch. The contrast between just-feel-it Ilya and logical-thinking Miyu feels good.

This was the perfect magical girl episode. Cute girls, comedy (poor Miyu :heh: ), action, pew pew lazers, flying. It had all the right elements. I really enjoyed the fight against Caster. Good teamwork on Illya and Miyu's part. These two complement each other well.

The typo was fixed in the TV broadcast.

Sad. That was so meme worthy.

So someone asked about Illya using the Archer card. Here we see the drawbacks of Including the cards into the wands: all you get is the Servant's weapon. Powerful, sure, but a bow without arrows has distinctly limited utility.

Not quite.



And yeah, Saber Alter's appearance in the source was a whole lot more shocking. Here we got a massive explosion instead (on Excalibur? Really?).
