Yeah. Toyosaki will use a different voice from her previous roles to sound less "childish" and more Sawashiro-ish.

Not quite. She's done a few male roles before. They were all bit parts though, so Inga will be her first male role to have any sort of prominence within a show.

This is the series I am looking forward to the most. The images seem somewhat post apocalyptic and interesting. I wonder if they are changing the setting from post world war 2 to post world war 3...I see a lot of crumpled buildings.

I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Seems like it might be pretty neat.

just like penguindrum the designs are pulling me off this one.

The designs are what excites me about both. That and the backgrounds of this one.

Suzuku: Wow, thanks. Those are amazing.

i used to like most things comig from Bones but the designs, and seeing how bones have been doing lately im not sure, also i havent checked this in a while so i have little to no idea what this is about.

I do love the Penguindrum designs but I kind of agree with you about this series. I don't like the designs for the type of series it is. It just doesn't fit with my idea after reading the synopsis. Although I have learned not to judge a series by it's character designs.

Shiroth 2011-08-14 15:53

The character designs are interesting. I'm just hoping the world setting will fit nicely along side them (looks like it will going by that one scan).

I'll preorder those panda-hat-scarf-gloves. I hope they're made of genuine wild panda fur imported from China.

Guardian Enzo 2011-08-14 16:56

So the panda-hat character is a dude? I guessed wrong on that...

About as hyper cuddly as anyone who wears a gauntlet can be. I trust him as far as I can toss him. :heh:

Apparently the animation character designer is Yoshiyuki Ito again. Which makes sense if this is a C Studio project...

Edit: Based on what Mizushima says about the show in Animage, it's definitely what was rumored. The show will be a sort of buddy story about two young men who solve cases together, and they're incorporating themes of social context and literature into the show.

Yeah, was so hyped when they started revealing the staff it's really hype inducing and BONES animation to go with it, one of my most anticipated shows along with the new Last Exile.

"Buddy cop" show + Mizushima, Aikawa, Ito and Narasaki doing the soundtrack (did a fantastic job on Deadman Wonderland), can not wait.
