Wow, I didn't expect to see this announcement so soon. Isn't it a bit too early for an anime adaptation? As mentioned before, the source material for Robotics;Notes isn't even out yet!

I just hope that it doesn't fall flat considering the hype and high expectations set by Steins;Gate for this one. And that it doesn't go a la Chaos;Head with a less-than-stellar adaptation out in the same year the game is released.

The famous, high-profile studios like J.C Staff or Madhouse cannot make good VN adaptations : they usually ruin the story since those adaptations are weaker than VN studios made by low-profile studios.

Shouldn't they wait a little after releasing the VN before making an anime? I really don't get how they're thinking.

It can be really good, like Steins;Gate, or it could suck, like Chaos;Head. Only time will tell which path they will follow.

People need to quit worrying about production studios and look @ staff more.. especially for the bigger companies with multiple studios and much bigger output. I.G at least means it will be animated decently enough.. now we wait for staff..

Strike while the iron is hot... and does it really matter if it gets an anime 4 months after the release of the game or 24 months? It's not like it's going to much different either way.. and considering the previous VN in the series was a big hit.. why not?

I dreaming of C;H's and S;G's (save for 10 years later Nae) crew (like R;N, they're part of Scientific Adventure saga by Nitro+ and 5pb.) doing some small cameos in some R;N episodes. :D

However, seeing a translated patch for the game might take a while...Steins;Gate apparently is undergoing development for a North American release, since the guys who were making the translation got bought out...
