Deadliest weapon around
 

I have seen many types of weapons ranging from knives to space cannons and even anti-matter weapons. Which weapon is the deadliest in the gaming universe (anything including gundams and magical weapons)?

The melee weapon. It's always stronger than the ranged weapon to make up for it's "handicap".

Hmm, I'm thinking of Dante's sword, Rebellion.

The Death Star of course

Goku's spirit ball can do the job of the Death Star....and he is only pint-sized. I'd like to see it zap him though.

It is difficult to make a comparison, but...

Wing Zero's self-destructive device is pretty deadly, not mentioning that its twin buster rifles are already powerful. However, the twin buster rifles has an ammo limit and once the limit has been reached, it is totally useless which is why the self-destructive device is more useful.

On the other hand, I just remembered that 00 Gundam+0 Raiser in TRANS-AM mode is much more powerful than the Wing Zero in all aspects, not mentioning that the self-destructive device may have little to no effect due to GN Particles.

Does Excalibur from Soul Eater counts?

Off the top of my head:

The Halo's or whatever they are called in the Halo universe. Those things can wipe out entire life in a flash across a galaxy.

The Hammer of Dawn in Gears of War, basically an orbital satellite lazer that can target Locust on the ground.

Metal Gear Rex/Ray/Arsenal Gear.

Gravity Gun - nothing like plucking up a saw blade and blasting it at bad guys then seeing their heads roll:D(my fav weapon of all time, its sooooo much fun)

Hm... tough question. However, if we're talking about the realm of hand-to-hand combat weapons/small arms, I would say...

The Lightsaber. The tried-and-true ultimate futuristic weapon. Lasers? Deflected. Super-dense alloys? Cuts through like a hot knife through butter. Anything else? There's always the Force.

And of course, as I just mentioned, there's the Force. Someone mentioned Goku being the equal of the Death Star. Probably true, but a good Force Choke/Lightning would put him down pretty fast.

I agree with you on that point.

A pen and a notebook will put that to rest.

But the deadiest weapon has to be the ability to summon any and all forms of weapon from portals with a thought for a bombardment or even materialise them for an infinite amount of times just by mentally projecting one in the mind.
