I get the feeling something big will be revealed in this episode. :D

Well.... I stopped watching after episode 7.... I'll check from time to time to see people's reactions to decide whether to go back again. ;)

It doesn't seem to appear that Desil is the Zedas' pilot.

It could be that he can able to remote control Zedas far away from his place.

Anyway, next week will be big battle between Diva's coalition and UE forces and AGE-1 Spallow's debut.

Fixed, heh.:p

Lots of juicy tid-bits in this episode.

The anti-UE coalition came more or less together. Grodek reveals his plan and true identity to the crew, and with help from Emily, convinces them to join him even though they would become mutineers. Strange that the UE space fortress has a name.

Confirmed that Flit's romance plot will have the Emily end.

Grodek reveals to them that he's not their real captain, and his true objective (to take out the UE at all costs).

Ah right right. Thought it might of been something else.

Nearly spewed my coffee when this scene came about:

9/10. Best episode since the early Nora ones. Almost a penultimate episode with Grodek's fleet speech, Emily's girl talk with Mrs. Mardonner and the revelation that the Zedas can function as a UCV (from Decil's command couch). The mobile suit scenes have improved too, with a Shaldoll X Titus mid-space transfer, the engineers on G-EXES schematics and the Age System reacting to the Zedas's speed advantage. Looking forward to the 5-ship fleet operations with Sparrow debut next week.

Another thing, that minor "Miles-chan" scene stole the show for me.

Nice nod to both Judau and Quess.

A good episode. (Marred by the hideous Titus obviously LOL).
I won't say the Emily X Flit pairing is 100% set in stone at this point. Other than Emily having a little chat with what's her name (Purple hair lady's name...eludes me) and probably finally coming to terms with the fact that Flit will fight regardless of what she thinks/wants; There really is no indication that Flit is anywhere remotely interested in her as more than a friend.

Of course, this pairing is the most likely to happen since EVERYTHING is pointing towards a Flit x Emily end (Ending song, Asem's hair color/hairstyle). Unless all that has been one big troll from the directors :heh:

Regarding Flit exiting into space without a space suit to change mobile suits, i really have no idea about space stuff; but doesn't doing so have a lot of side effects? I literally :twitch:at that scene.

Overall 7/10 . Would be 8/10 if that god horrible Titus didn't appear again (obviously to sell(lol?) kits since Spallow is appearing in the next episode) and the Flit space scene.

casval cehack 2011-12-04 05:00

Mrs. Mardonner or the purple hair lady is Lalaparry Madorna. Thanks to her, Emily's reaction and stance when Yurin arrives will be more...interesting.

Well, perhaps not 100%, but "risk everything to be together with the one you love" is a strong setup for final pairing (or a dark, bittersweet ending which will probably be unlikely given the show's naiveness).

I lol'd and then cringed not so much about the believability of such a move, but more so of the scene's reminder of those two hideous characters from Char's Counterattack.

LightningZERO 2011-12-04 05:17

One thing caught my attention. Flit mentioned that he lost his "mom and dad too". We know what happened to his mother. What about the father? I wonder if he will turn out to be on UE's side?

Sides 2011-12-04 05:38

Was alright. Grodek finally revealing his objective to the team and gave them the choice to join him as renegades or go back to the Federation.
Did Mukred actually modified the Zedas or not?
I'm giving this episode an extra mark, for decommissioning Titus after two episodes. Is that the current record for killing off a gundam?
Forgot to mention the gundam like suit inside the Madorna Workshop, looks like the next gen of custom suits are going to be Gundam based/class ones.
Next week battle near the Fardain, it would be fun if the blueprints for the zalam and euba contains a kill switch designed by Yark Dore ^^
