There seems to be a request for this thread, so after much consideration, I deem it okay that this thread can be of use.

Feel free to post links to AMVs for FSN here, and any comments as well.

Not an AMV of mine, but probably the best done one (of any anime), in my opinion. It's made completely out of CGs and author made effects too! Simply brilliant. Warning, it does contain Fate/hollow ataraxia spoilers for the final battle of the game. Though I seriously doubt anyone who doesn't know the storyline will know what the hell is going on in it.

I must say though, the Japanese are very good at making music videos. I was thinking of trying my hand at a Fate one once the anime ended that would also incorporate their CGs, but I highly doubt it would live up to the Japanese standard. I suppose I'll try anyway though.

Just to note, those type of videos the Japanese sometimes make are usually called MADs.

Indeed. 'Twas a MAD pack I got that video and a bunch of others in.

I've been trying for months to get the MAD pack from this one huge Fate torrent without much luck. :( I have two MAD AMV's I managed to dig up somewhere and they have me hooked!

A MAD video titled "Existence For..." I believe. Considered one of the better made Fate MAD movies out there. Really like the song and how video and CG images are interlayed.

Btw anyone have that Fate AMV called "nightwish", with the song "ever dream"? That AMV is very, very well done, but I don't think I'm allowed to post the URL to it because I could only find it on Tube, and that site allows you to watch licensed stuff on it.

For some reason, I only get audio when playing this file. Does it use any specific codec?

I can't remember downloading anything special. I just have a CCCP bundle, and it works okay in any of my players.

A very nice MAD. I also noticed the "Operation Legend" mark in the beginning of that video. It also appears in the closing the of the video I posted. Do the two videos have anything to do with each other? Common creator?

I think it's a fairly famous MAD movie group. I've seen their name come up on few other stuff like Air MAD.

So does that MAD have any major spoilers?

Another really good AMV. I'm loving MAD's work so far.

A very good AMV that captures the feeling of the game very well. A bit short though, at only around a 1m 40s, but very, very well done.

Just a warning about possible spoilers in that video, it uses a mixture of the anime cut scenes found in the game as well as CG scenes.

That the one to Re-sublimity (as it was also called Avalon)? 'Twas the one I was going to post. My favorite AMV. It isn't as flashy as the other two, but it was the first one I saw and it's stuck with me. Tons of spoilers. Though I watched it before finishing the UBW route and it didn't really spoil me... despite one very overt CG. Still, I recommend it anyway ;)

"answer" was the best Fate MAD I've seen, but it's so big. -_-

What's a good place for big files (150MB~)? Is anyone even interested?

Maybe start seeding a torrent or something? This sounds familiar - is it one which runs through all of F/SN backwards from Heaven's Feel -> Fate?
